As those are the 2 biggest selling game series ever, you can safely say the majority of the gaming world DO like those games.

The 3DS may have dropped due to ''poor'' sales, but even so, the 3DS still sold much better than Vita has at same point in its life.
Edit: I know the 3DS had less competition, but it still had the PSP with Monster Hunter and a few Final Fantasy games, and the DS with Pokemon to beat.
Not to mention, the Vita came out during holiday period when things should be expected to sell more...
They still have a hell of a lot of money.
It always makes me laugh, Nintendo has 1 loss in 30 years and is dead, Sony loses billions for years and is ok, despite having less cash and a huge debt.

Actually, the Pokemon games only have about a dozen unique Pokemon in each version, and theres a lot more than just 24 monsters in each game...

Memory cards (about £140, going on Ebay prices of £92 for a 32GB card and £43 for a 16GB card - I have around 40GB of games on PSN)
So thats close to £400 before i even rebuy my UMD games and buy a game for Vita itself...

Nintendo has the best selling games this generation.
The top 10 selling games EVER are all Nintendo games, and at least 5 of those are from the past 6 years.
Now bring it over to Europe unlike the original...
