Sony wanted cross play last gen and MS said no. Now MS wants cross play. I would say no too. Nothing in it for Sony but a loss.
This is VG chartz, so you know it's done a lot more. They purposefully under track anything PlayStation.
Agreed, I know some more big games are still due to come out throughout the year but it will be pretty big shock if GOW doesn't walk away with GOTY awards across the board. For me it's game of the generation.
IGN never said the same last gen when Microsoft refused to cross play with Sony and it was Sony wanting to do cross play. IGN have always been Xbots.
People have such short memories. last gen it was Sony that wanted to do cross play but Microsoft said no. Now the xbone is a total failure, all of a sudden MS want to do cross play with everyone.

Sony easily had the best E3 yet again, they have the best games. Didn't fill their presentation up with the annoying "world premier" phrase, which were multi platform titles anyway.
Correct. What Microsoft need is a culture change in how they develop games and treat developers not new studios. I'm willing to bet the talent will leave and creative creative control will be lost just like with Rare and Nokia.

Top it off they did a typical Microsoft tactic of just buying up companies. fans have been saying Microsoft need a culture change, not to buy up more studios. They will ruin these new developers like Rare if they do not change their business strategy and culture.
Hinting at new consoles in development. I think there's no doubt the new consoles will be with us for 2020 xmas holidays at latest. 2019 has got games but 2020 is looking pretty bare, can't see them waiting till 2021/22 to bring out new consoles.
off the shelf components, not bespoke, you can easily swap out out parts and put better ones in, increase the RAM like Sony did with PS4 at the last minute.
Ninja theory was only saying a while ago they prefer to be independent and don't need a publisher. Microsoft did the usual of buying up competition instead of developing 5 brand new studios from the ground up.
Just like Rare and Nokia they will be run into the ground. It's not new studios MS need, it's a culture change.

They needed to start 5 of their own studios, not buy up 5 which they will trash just like Rare. The future is just a handful of giant mega developers controlling the gaming market.
Correct, the UK company was just bragging a few months ago how they are independent and don't need anyone big publishers. have these companies not learned from Rare and others? This company will go down hill like the rest, the talent will leave.
