THE COD4: MODERN WARFARE 1 GAME DIDN'T DOUBLE UP ON 360...SO I THINK THE SAME WILL BE HERE. Of course the 360 willl see more revnue, but PS3 will get close to 6 million sold. (The previous game sold 4.8 million on PS3 and 7.8 million on 360.) It is close to double, however....the PS3 system was still $100 bucks more at the time. I think the PS3 will represent with sales this go round. Man, I wish I worked for Infinity Ward!
I have no luv nor mercy for video game pirates. yea, I used to burn movies...but I stopped doing it and pay for not only my movies, but have itunes also. MODERN WARFARE 2 IS DESERVING OF A 9.5 SOCRE...IN MY OPINION.
personally, i will allow a 2 game maximun for "milking", as long as it is done great, which COD: Modern Warfare has done. I have the PS3 version..(As I only have the PS3 system) and it jsut as good as COD4, which is also BETTER than Halo.

Haven't had heard of any pirating issues with the PS3....which is prob. one of the main reasons people try to say that Xbox 360 is so much better. (You can mod them.) Of course I like the Xbox 360, it's agreat platform! Just saying that MS has been loosing a ton from dishonest custoomers, while Sony's beter constructed systems is free from large ammounts of defects and mods. For the record...as I do, I only recomend buying games or DVD's off CL.

THE PS3 HAS SOLD AROUND 27 MILLION PS3 SYSTEMS, VERSUS AROUND 32 MILLION XBOX 360'S. That is pretty good and damn near even in my book. (Not that is matters...both companies are making bank!) I don't know a ton about games, but I do know that Call of Duty has never been a exclusive. If I am correct, PC, PS1/PS2, and Xbox/Xbox 360 had Medal of Honor, which most of IW staff developed. Also, Call of duty has made multiple appearances on all of the systems.

just with COD4: Modern Warfare, these games looks and plays EXACTLY THE SAME!! (INCLUDING ONLINE PLAY) I prefer the PS3 version ONLY BECAUSE I AM USE TO THE TRIGGERS ON THE PS3 CONTROLLER. I have played it on 360, and it's the same game....my hands fit the PS3 controller better, and of course...I CAN WATCH THE DARK KNIGHT ON BLU RAY TOO!!

Waht people don't know is this: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare IS THE ONE OF THE HIGHEST SELLING GAMES ON THE PS3. MGS4 and GTA4 are the other two games that have sold near the 4 million unit marker. (COD4: Modern Warfare sold 4.9 million copies)
With no disrespect to the Nintendo Wii, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 would move tons of which ever system it was exclusive to.

Of course, some people in the IW camp knows that there will be more copies of Modern Warfare 2 sold on the Xbox 360. However, they do know that this game will very well be the most played online FPS on the PS3 also...WHICH IS WHY THEY WENT MULTIPLAT! AGAIN....Modern Warfare 1 sold just under 5 million on the PS3!!! NOW, the number for PS3 will be higher...although not as high as Xbox 360. I think it will look something like this:
-Xbox 360 = right around 10 million units sold
-PS3 = around 7.5 million
MODERN WARFARE 1 sold great on the PS3. (I found the numbers to be over 3 million) When I bought my copy on Tuesday afternoon, I was told that BOTH the PS3 and Xbox 360 games sold well. Xbox 360 did sell out, but when I got my PS3 version....I was told that Gamespot had only 4 left. (This particular store did get more 360 copies)
ALTHOUGH IT'S UNCLEAR JUST HOW MANY MW 2 UNITS HAS SOLD TO DATE...THIS GAME COULD VERY WELL HIT THE 15 MILLION MARK. I got the game, and it's a lot of fun....even if it has the Modern Warfare 1 feel to it. As to the "graphics" comments I see on here: For the amount of money I am being charged for a system, accessories, and games...YEA, I AM A GRAPHICS GEEK! It's part of the presentation of the game for me, along with sound, the graphics needs to be great.

I have a PS3 slim and will get the Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 250gb system this holiday season. I agree that Sony is looking great! A lot of people (Especialy parents) did not get enough PS3 info from stores....and Sony is taking action.
Who cares which systems is better. I have a PS3 because I love Blu Ray movies, free online play, and the exclusives. 360 and Wii are great too..but, I need my Blu Rays! (I like PC..but it's too expensive for me to keep up with the graphics cards.)...
Modern Warfare 2 is destined to be the highest profiting game since Halo 3. who cares if a few sites say that the graphics are a 10. Personally, I believe that 10's (for graphics) are only possible on PC anyway....BUT, there have been 10's for both the 360 and PS3. Uncharted 2, Killzone, 2, MGS4, Gears of War, Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2, and Forza are all 9.7 or higher. Does not matter if MW2 got a little bit higher than Uncharted....they are both great and thats all that really matt...
