Looks a lot smoother than the last trailer.
..and a big part of that is that it avoided close-ups! ha!
It's their next handheld so it's not another DS and it's definitely not the same thing.
The XL was obviously aimed at the periphery market as well, not meant for people to upgrade.
It's a mix of both, Capcom was worried about budget because console Monster Hunter's lose one of the main draws for the Japanese market and that means less people will buy it and it takes a lot of sales to justify an AAA PS3 budget. Nintendo saw that they could get a sweet exclusive so promised to help with the western release.
Think of all the advertising for Tri. That's mostly Nintendo.
3DS will be backwards compatible so it will be accessible on the current handheld but it depends if retailers will pick it up.
$200 or less I'd say. Depending on how much they cram in it they may go for a slightly higher price than they introduced the DS at.
I can't wait!:D
They don't have the license(which is why it's the third birthday and not PE3) so they might not be able to.
Yer, TvC has a brilliant style and awesome gameplay. MvC3 better match it!
Looks really awesome.
How come there's a big hubbub about Red Steel 2 but the much bigger budget and advertised Just Cause 2, which came out on the same day, flopped as well and it hasn't been mentioned at all?
I'm not too sure myself, I remember seeing a discussion somewhere where someone mentioned that something was missing... or something...
I was skimming it so I didn't pick it all up, just that the egg missions are better done.
All the finishers and wrestling moves work off motion controls and they work like crap with a standard controller, moreso on the Paradise set up than the NMH2 set up. Also in the first NMH(but saddly taken out of the sequel) is a fantastic use of the Wiimote's speaker(a feature people who don't play the Wii seem to forget about).
The experience is much better with motion controllers because it used them effectively(instead of just waggle), YMMV but it seems to be the general co...
In some aspects yes, the port has lost some of the nuances of the style Suda established and there's stuff like Travis being overly-shiny and his glasses being too opaque.
On a tech level though the 360 obviously comes out on top.
That isn't because it's a Wii port, the 360/PS3's loading is like twice as slow(I think one comparison had the Wii load in 15 seconds and the 360 in 29).
I wouldn't hold ya breaths for a western release.
The game did terribly in Japan(again) and it may have had a higher budget(due to the new HD textures which are hella exensive) AND Ubisoft(who I think owns the US rights completely) said they have no interest in it.
European so no. Friday for me!
I think it's a bonus but apparently it's much less annoying and better balanced.
Well the CC Pro had input from the MH team to make it ideal for the game as well!
Can't wait to get hold of it on friday.
Except the CC Pro isn't a Dualshock copy. It's the normal CC(AKA SNES pad with analogs and some extra buttons) with prongs.
Which actually makes it all the more obvious that the Playstation controller was a copy of the SNES pad(and then the dualshock came about because they copied rumble and analog control from the N64).
Well it seems Tri will be a lot of people's first Monster Hunter experience so I think peole will be a bit more forgiving and if not they're douches.:P
so do I but I have no meny so it's alright for me.:P
I do have some left over points on my DSi so Flipper for me!
