I totally disagree, Nintendo was forced to change the game because they new they couldn't compete with the other 2 in the HD gaming market so they decided to try and capture a different demographic(NON Gamers).
The gamecube was a huge failure for them so they had nothing to loose because they already where at the bottom and they could only go up from where they where at.
I just finished it in 5 hrs 23 minutes and i have to agree it is way over hyped. I am left with the buyers remorse, 7/10 for me also. It is going back to the store next week to trade for AC2.
This game is a big letdown for me, i hate the monster closets and the strawberry jam blood filter. The best level so far for me has been the snow level and everything else has been meh.
Either way to cut it, the game is one ugly mofo.
