The jaguar 8 core CPU at 2Ghz produces 128 Gflops alone and the GPU produces 1.84 Tflops. The total peak flop performance of the PS4 APU is 1.968 Tflops.
The seadoo races make me wish for an updated splashdown for next gen. I loved that series.
Find a PC and download it to USB key and update that way.

I'm surprised at how quiet it is on the developer front after the reveal. There are no developers talking about the hardware and the possibilities of the system.
If it was free don't you think Microsoft would be shouting that from the rafters. I think it is a safe bet to assume that it would be part of a Gold subscription.
I was thinking the same thing when i saw it. It looks exactly like the Rogers Nextbox 2.0. Hopefully it doesn't come with a power brick the size of the original Xbox.
The R7-265 has 16 compute units which give you the 1024 shaders and the PS4 has 18 CUs which equates to 1152.
The R7-265 must be clocked higher then the PS4s GPU which would bring their flop performance in line even though the PS4 has more CUs.
