Contend? With one another perhaps, but not with SONY.
Sorry, all 3 are great, but people overwhelmingly prefer PS.
They tipped their hand and showed the customers what they're all about. THEMSELVES, to the point where consumers would take it in the pail over and over.
These moves to save face do not in any way clear them of wrong doing. The intent was there, and still is. MS wants control. Now they are back where they started in gaming.
Its certainly news worthy and interesting that Xbox is losing all the market share they picked up last Gen in the US.
If Xbox cannot gain and hold an edge in the US, then everything else just becomes pointless for them.
PS3 didn't 'win' anything. It just outsold 360.
Well its an interesting point, but not ironic at all.
Eddie Murphy!
Exactly.
I prefer the original PS store on PS3. That was a mean beast of a UI. Very simple and able to load and find everything in a snap.
Its not a house, but more of a lair actually. He made it with blankets and boxes. 😅
In a perfect world, yes.
In the real world though, they're prone to using the business model which reaps the biggest profits from the smallest overhead.
They would all love to port finished products for 1/100 the work while charging near full price.
Its just business. I know ND is currently working on UC4, but after we get that, we are going to see UC remakes rather than a new game. Mark my words.
Yeah its not like it was their responsibility or anything.
:/
Slap on the wrist
He didn't make them up. He was reporting on the figure given by Microsoft of 2 million consoles sold for the prior quarter, and 800,000 of them having to be 360s due to 1.2 mil being Xbox Ones.
He isn't inventing numbers. He is doing 1st grade math.
He is saying "assume" for this quarter because there is no other data to use. He is using the previous quarter as a guide, and the numbers are terrible.
The future is not mobile QBs.
Mobile QBs are entirely too risky due to injury. They get hit and they get hurt.
Pocket passers will always supercede the mobile QB. For the better of the team and the business.
So ND can focus on all the reamkes we are going to be fed over the next 2 years.
I love Kevin Spacey and all, but really? Who the hell is gonna buy the game for him?
Lol that's funny.
Who's this random Polock, and why do we care what he thinks or says?
EA is just successful at buying rights. They're opportunists and dam good at it.
They sell millions of games based on the NFL, and FIFA.
When you're the only game in town, you're bound to rake it in.
Look at the remake like this, and maybe some of you will understand.
You shovel an old woman's snow for $20.00 bucks. At the end you put down some ice melt. She's happy and gives you $20.00.
Then it snows another couple inches that night, and the ice melt prevented accumulation on her driveway. You then charge her another $15.00 for the driveway again.
You didn't shovel the driveway again and you want $15.00 bucks.

The quality of the original doesn't negate the formula of what a cash grab is though.
You have to look at from a business perspective, seeing as it's a business related question.
Of course the new players will love the game. Its a fantastic game.
It is still a port over a year old though.
The fact that 360 was all alone as a new generational machine for a year was a tremendous advantage too. As awesome as Xbox exclusives are, the fact that they were available before PS3, was what led to MS picking up US market share.
Now, all things are equal and PS is merely returning to its position as a leader in the industry. I'd love to see Nintendo geared toward a more adult audience, but I don't think it is going to happen.
This Gen is not abo...
