Commentator.
WHoooooosh.
That's the sound of everything going over your head.
Let me explain since you resorted to name calling.
When Bleedoe said that Xbox has smoother gameplay and less stuttering I replied that the 8bit shadows do not look smooth.
Nowhere did I equate frame pacing to shadows. You did that on your own. You're inferring a literal connection where there was none. I was merely showi...
Yes! This is the problem with today's consumer. They have no patience. This sense of entitlement is mind boggling to me.
This is what happens when a culture wants to give everyone a trophy and becomes more concerned about everyone's feelings rather than reality. The reality that life is often unfair and that we are all better off learning to walk it off and man up.
Staggered release?
We only live in one market each, for the most part. We are also speaking about a discrepancy which totals 2 weeks.
Considering I live in NY, and the game will release across all the Western world on 4/12, I see no problem.
Why are others so upset or feel "unfair"?
Even though the PS4 version seemed to hold at the 30fps mark much more stable than the Xbox version in the video, I had a hard time seeing it with my eyes. The digital tool they're using says it held better, but it's hard to tell unless you're actually playing it I guess.
Other than a slight res bump for the ps4 version and the boxy shadows on Xbox, both games seemed to run the same to me.
I'm so excited to build a priest guy and whoop some b...
"rougher look".
That's putting it lightly. Shadows of straight swords on Xbox closely resemble a sword from 1988 Hyrule.
No this new Dark Souls uses the Bloodborne engine which was designed for PS4.
It's odd to me due to the fact that it was developed for new hardware, but has the exact issues of past iterations. So it begs the question, just how different is the Bloodborne engine from previous Souls engine?
Same here. When put under scrutiny those shadows on Xbox are NES like,8 bit, but I don't think I would have noticed had an article not pointed it out. When you're playing a game like this, how often you stop to study a shadow?
You're so melodramatic. As if all games prior to 60fps were not enjoyable.
Bloodborne is hands down the best game of the generation for me and many others. You're acting as if the experience scarred you due it's substandard performance.
Echo system
Commentator he is stating the PS4 version has more stuttering.
I'm well aware of what framerate is. I'm surprised you actually wrote that.
Sometimes you have to feed the troll.
Yes the only difference which I could see was the shadow rendering which doesn't really matter.
Mega Man games are for sure hard, but Super Ghouls N Ghosts isn't.
The initial aracade Ghost N Goblins is much harder than the sequels.
Ninja Gaiden NES was probably the game I remember most as being extremely hard.
Neither is real
Yeah, the 8bit sword shadow looks real smooth. That shadow looks like a saw cleaver.
Bloodborne was hard, man. For me it was. I'm speaking solely of the initial playthrough.
Nothing was as hard as Demons Souls though, before the Wikis. When we were Guinea pigs for the series it was so unbelievable. We all had to figure every litte aspect out like world tendancy and never killing an NPC and to make wise decisions.
It was that lack of anything and challenge that made me fall in love with the series.
Dozer Axe, baby!
It was. The trio early on were hard. Ruin Sentinel. After that it became so easy.
I really didn't care for DS 2 and all the areas where u get invaded spammed. It made the game trivial after a while.
Haha. Hell yes. I had to invest in the skull lamp so I would have some semblance of direction.
The enemies down there were very strong too initially. Giant boney guys with lots of HP and strength. That was so much fun.
I love BB so much. I agree it will be difficult to live up to.
Here's to hoping we love it as much or more.
That's so funny. I never watched any of those, but I'm not surprised in the least. There are some creative secret geniuses out there. A dance dance mat. Hahaha
I'm surprised anyone thought it was real.
All one has to do is to think about holding that thing for more than an hour and it becomes pretty clear that not only was it fake, but not very thought out.
