I think you'd adapt and grow fond of any new characters if given the chance. It's about the world and the hardships which everyone experiences. I'm sure they will both be in the game in some capacity though.
I'd rather they focus their collective efforts toward the sequel so we get it quicker.

That's not correct. At the time of the PS3 launch, in the US at least, cable was being switched to digital and consumers were all but forced to upgrade their televisions.
4K at the moment is nowhere near widespread enough to garner large support yet. It just isn't.

I was the biggest AC fan around, and even I got burned out with the annual garbage. The pirate one was the last one for me. Maybe I should go back and play the new ones.
I'm surprised they didn't include the three elemental bosses in Castlevania Lament of Innocence. The Fire, Lightning and Ice whip bosses. The Lightning one was really hard to find. Took me weeks and then I found it by accident.
That game was so awesome.
