Hold Triangle to remove your melee, then hold L2 to charge it and hack away. When you have a stance mod equipped for given weapon type, you're allowed to do combos. Its pretty badass man.

The new melee system is pretty awesome tho. You're familiar with how to use it, right? Along with stance mods? Pretty badass going thru missions with just a melle while holding L2 and using combos to rip everything to shreds. Definite huge upgrade.
As for the story? Yeah its lacking, but the way I see it, I don't need a story to enjoy being a space ninja at all. Its all about my journey, not the galactic wars. I'm there to rank up and kick ass period.

Actually, you can get them from logging in for nothing. Both Orokin reactors and Orokin catalysts. The blueprint dies after you build it, but you don't have to buy them.
