IMO, I think COD4 is the best fps I've played this gen hands down.
Most of the PS3's exclusives have the potential to sell very close to what Halo 3 has sold, THE QUALITY IS THERE, BUT THE MARKETING IS LACKING.

Umm, the xbox360 has twice the install base, and COD4 and COD5 are multiplatform.
Last gen my favorite FPS was Halo 2, this gen so far it's COD4 followed by Killzone 2.
Oh and what did Halo 3 redefine? It was just a good shooter, like COD4, and Killzone 2.
IMO, halo 3 was incredibly unrealistic and not special. I liked Gears of War 2 a lot more, which is sitting at just 1 or 2 points above K2 in metacritic.
They just want to mark K2 as a flop because it didn't sell "teh 2 million copies" in what..2 days?
So if a game doesn't sell as good as Halo 3 it is a flop. Nice, very nice.
Do you think every single gamer goes on n4g.com to check out Killzone 2? My friends with xbox360s said that Killzone 2 looked awesome but I just reminded them about the game a week ago.

The PS2 is a record selling console and has been around for quite some time.
I think the game is a 9.5 but I've only played it for a certain amount of time.
If K2 is 8.5, then Halo 3 would be an 8.

Nice review. Honestly, Killzone 2 did not wow me, but the thing was that I couldn't find anything much wrong with the game. So in other words, I'm the problem and not the game itself. If I had the money I would buy Killzone 2 in a heartbeat.
Killzone 2 has very solid gameplay its just that since its a PS3 exclusive people tend to pick at things that they wouldn't normally pick at on a multiplatform or xbox360 fps.
Incredible how much of a hater you are. I loved Halo 1 and 2, but Halo 3 was simply overrated, COD4 was much better.
the multiplayer in the first one was so addicting and fun. I don't think they will be on par, but DICE is no rookie when it comes to graphics.

they bash them because they didn't sell as much as Halo 3 which was the second coming and imo hardly delivered as the best FPS it was thought out to be. IMO, Battlefield bad company's multiplayer was a lot more addicting.
