imo, I don't think it will cast a shadow over the PS3's incredible 09 lineup. However, it will be "something" which is better than nothing.
especially a game that has sold very decent. Keyword "decent".
Alan Wake and ME2 are not looking like they will be released in 09 at all, neither is Splinter Cell.
Also, Halo: ODST looks more like an expansion and we've seen very little footage.
So far one of the most powerful games in terms of sales and marketing was Halo 3 and it was released around the time where the PS3 was geting bashed 24/7 yet it didn't "kill" it.
BTW, I expect both MAG and GOW3 in 2010 or late 2009.

Mooks, long before this gen, meaning last gen, there were Playstation 2 games that sold more than Halo 3.
BTW, those sales are due to the extreme marketing of MS, we all know Halo 3 isn't as good as they make it out to be.
Anyway, I agree with Genesis, Sony consoles are more..."future proof".

This article seems like it was made in 5 minutes just to start a quick flamewar. As a PS3 owner, imo, the Halo franchise is amazing, but I'm waiting for games like GOW3, Infamous, MAG,etc.
at least not for 2009 or 2010. If anything, this is Sony's chance to do something big.
Either way, expect 1 or 2 exclusives or exclusive DLC to be shown at E3.
