Have you guys even seen Heavy Rain? Even with incredible graphics LP2 won't surpass Killzone 2 in reviews or the praise it recieved.

I don't think the PS3 is in trouble now, nor that it will be anytime soon. Gran Turismo 5 will certainly move consoles and sell worldwide rather than just in NA.

Umm yes sales do matter and Killzone 2's sales were actually good not bad. Sony even mentioned that they were happy with the results not to mention Killzone 2 made a record as a PS3 exclusive for reaching 500k the fastest or something like that.
Now, if K2 didn't sell as much as your precious overhyped Gears and Halo thats something else. Its called marketing.
most of the hype comes from the media, you need to realize that hype comes from fanboys either ways and xbox360 fanboys are no exception. However, either way the true source of the hype comes from the media because they can make it spread like wildfire. Anyway, titles like Killzone 2, MGS4, and LBP did incredibly well in terms of quality. Sales depend on marketing, not as much as hoW good a game is, sadly.
As for the 09 lineup, the PS3's lineup defenitly has more to offer. Howe...
Killzone 2 is a great game not a flop.
Personally I always nitpick on Home simply because it annoys me how many people in Home simply don't use it the right way.
However, as a community for PS3 owners, I think it is a success.
Who do you think cares? What does this prove? Nothing. You think this is Sony's fault? A developer can make a PS3 game that rivals the graphics of Crysis as we've seen with GG. It just depends on the dev.
could possibly be anything bigger than another Crackdown or Hulk game. Yes, it's loads of fun, I see it, I see the potential, but it seems the game will just get old after a certain time playing. However, maybe some other people are into this kind of thing, personally, I'm done with these types of games.

Above one of you say that the only thing that rivals it is MGS. Umm aren't MGS and Shemnue games with different genres? Either way for me the MGS franchise is difficult to match in gameplay and storyline.

the first Halo was simply incredible(although everything else after that went downhill) Killzone 2 was amazing, and Resistance 2 was just fun.
Lost Planet has about an 80 on metacritic, Ratchet and Clank: TOD scored higher reviews lol, but all of a sudden this is one of the best games of 2009?
