Well the story is so damn big and detailed, there's no way they could tell you it within the game. Specially with just cutscenes. In a way it's the best thing about halo, because you have so much story to take in that the game can't give you.
But that being said, they could've done a better job with explaining some of the backstory quickly in the game.
Why they don't make this for next-gen consoles I don't understand.

That shit can stay on the Wii-U. I don't know why you'd want them to charge for characters. Worst form of consumerism. One product should have all the characters. Any DLC should be actual gameplay expansions. Anything else gets a finger from me.

For 7 guys this looks pretty awesome to me, and I don't even play platformers.
Exactly! It had a really cool progression system, where you earned money per round to upgrade to better weapons and abilities in later rounds, and it all reset at the end of the match. I found that to be really interesting because people weren't trying to do challenges to unlock new things. Everyone started the game equally.
My favourite was the teleportation ability, very useful to escape out of a losing firefight.
Anyone miss that FPS Shadowrun game that was cross platfrom between xbox 360 and PC? I still play the demo of that game, it's so much fun! I really wished they made a sequel.

Yea not when you get 4 games all remade and remastered into a collection, with complete matchmaking for every single one, sound and cinematics remastered. Use some common sense before you talk.
This is not the same as one game being upscaled to 1080p and costing 40 freakin dollars.
