...I analyze things all the time. In fact, this morning I analyzed the Nutrition Facts of my Cap'n Crunch. You know what my conclusion was based on the information at hand? I should switch to Frosted Mini Wheats. I think "analysts" are funny, "I analyze things, I'm an analyst". I'm not trying to pick a fight, just saying that analysts are just guessing... and your guess is as good as mine. Just because you are an analyst, doesn't mean you have any information I don't.
...is just playing it safe; they don't want to pull a Sony and get everyone's expectations high, then drop them... then drop them again... then drop them again. I will probably get a PS3 in two years... especially if BluRay wins the format war... after they fix all the bugs, and they prove it is worth getting.
then the XBOX came out, and I liked the graphics and games better (never a huge fan of that Japanese stuff)... now my PS2 (I had 2, gave one to my sis-in-law) is under my bed in a box. I don't know what I'll ever do with it.
...they aren't compressing the files, like they do for the 360. That makes the game look bigger than it is, but that is not why they're doing it. The PS3 isn't fast enough to sort through compressed files, so the load times would be really long. The 360 is fine using DVD-9 because it is developed to quickly search through compressed files. Here is a good example: Oblivion 6 gigs. Oblivion on PS3, probably 40 gigs.
Good point!
Test Drive Unlimited and Just Cause demos will give me some play time... Madden '07 and Texas Hold'em can wait an hour or so!
I can not wait to play this game!
...looks pretty boring (I hate to say that!). I really hope they tweak that a LOT.
... but I am going to kidnap Mario and make him talk.
...that could mean the PS3 fails. A lot of people don't mind paying $600 for a console, but if BluRay fails, and Sony becomes the only one using it, games are going to cost a lot for the PS3.
My wife is really excited about it... and I am, too!
...and do not see a lack of features. In fact, I think it is one of the better Maddens to date.
The shinier the better... I guess. I have to admit the silver strip is sorta cool though.
...is kind of boring, but the picture ain't bad :)
...I was raised on Madden. I remember selling $1 candy bars for a fundraiser, but saying they were $2 so I could buy Madden '92. However, as much as I love Madden, it has gotten pretty slack it seems. I really hope '07 is as good as NCAA '07 plus some extra features... at the very least!
...Sony has already trained you to keep your hopes down. Don't you see?! "Don't expect much, but pay a lot!" seems to be Sony's catch phrase with the PS3. You're paying for the potential... like the stock market... but the stock market can make you money, the PS3 will let you play games- just like the 360, Wii, and DS Lite. I have nearly every console: NES, SNES, Game Gear, Gameboy, DS Lite, PS2 (2 of them), Dreamcast, N64, and my 360... 360 is most fun with the perfect online exper...
...but $69.99? My controller is just fine.
Good God! That is half a Nintendo DS! That is more than a brand new friggin 360 game! I will definitely pass on this one.
I think this guy is in love with theMart!
...but why pay that much for a DVD player?
