... ahh, the Dreamcast... should still be around today... that was a good console.
...when I bought my 360... and she's a penny pincher, but I still managed to get two games with my console... less than one on average is terrible.
The Xbox360 has given me next-gen play for almost a year now... I couldn't imagine only having a few games to choose from right now. Way too many good games are out right now on the 360, and more are coming very soon! It would also suck to be playing a bunch of games that anyone with access to a 360 has played, beaten, and moved on in already.
...can we believe you this time, Phil?
...and show it to a friend or two, but to be honest, I don't think too many people will actually want to watch other people playing. I'd rather play.
"The 360 is, technically, the number one next-generation system in Japan at this point..."
...I even have it reserved... but I know I won't want to put down GOW for some time now... damn you, Epic!
I got Saints Row to get my fix for open-world gaming... and with that pretty much done, I'll probably get Just Cause sooner or later... then hopefully it'll just be a matter of time before I get my hands on Crackdown!
...they both have pros and cons... but are relatively equal. There, I said it. Oh, yeah, but the 360 costs less... and is readily available... and has more games.
I'm sold out! I warned of shortages :)
Actually, to be honest, I am working on a book. Keep an eye out for it next year some time. It's called 'Like Father'... I don't have a publisher yet, but I'm working on it!
...I wrote a book, printed 5 copies, and was sold out in no time :)
I'm glad the PS3 will have a decent game at launch. I don't play racing games, so now I'll have a reason to go over to a friend's house (who bought a PS3) and play this game. Cool, cool!
I appreciate the un-biased look at the lack of difference between 1080i and 1080p.
Quick and to the point. There are some serious problems with Sony and its PS3... but only time will tell!
Yeah, that would be funny... in a demeneted way... still funny.
Some people have the money to waste, and probably get some high from paying so much for a something that might not work.
spellcheck please.
Hehe, just kidding, but I bet he'd be cool to play some GOW with... he'd kick my ass, but that'd be alright.
...if my wife didn't want one so badly. However, I do see some perks to getting it: Zelda, and the virtual console. Yeah, that's pretty much it at launch... oh, plus it'll be nice playing on a more even playing field with my wife, since she won't have such a problem with all the buttons.
...5,000 people all playing together in an open world... shooting each other... making groups of friends to patrol with, hunt with... sweet.
A lot of people I've talked to (approximately 20), people who aren't hardcore gamers, a majority of those had just purchased an Xbox, or PS2, or GameCube, and aren't planning on getting any of the next-gen consoles until much later. Not of any statistical relevance, but interesting none the less... to me anyway.
