I hadn't played it all weekend, family in town, baby shower, etc. Then, yesterday, I have a day off, looking forward to some Madden, maybe replay Bioshock, I turn it on, and it freezes up in Dashboard. I reset. I get to load my franchise in Madden, and it freezes. I reset. It freezes upon start up. I wait. Yep, there they are: the RRoD. I unplug my beloved 360, I call for the crash cart, but it is too late. I go to xbox.com and request repair. Now I will wait... wait... wait... sorta like a P...
I bought my 360 for Dig Dug, my PS3 for Calling All Cars, and my Wii for Dr Mario... and my PC for Diner Dash!
I can't wait to get home... does the demo have coop available? I want to see if my wife likes it.

I downloaded the patch last night, played for 3 hours (finally beat it), and all I noticed is it seemed to fix the widescreen issue. No framerate problems or freezing that I noticed. I guess it is just luck of the draw.

Who the hell is running through Bioshock in 5-8 hours? I've been playing for about 20-25 hours now and am now just getting to the point where (spoiler alert!) I find out who Atlas really is.
it's a really good game and I have enjoyed the crap out of it. It sucks that not everyone will be able to experience Bioshock. Oh well, makes me happy I have a 360.

...how so few people realize the HD capabilities of the 360 and PS3, as if only HDTVs have framerates. If Madden 08 was 1080p on the 360, and only 720p on the PS3, that would be an isolated problem. However, this is framerates... SDTVs, EDTVs, and HDTVs are all affected and show the difference.
You're right, the average consumer won't care about the frame rate differences because they will not be informed of the difference. However, we are not average consumers, and I do care.
