Very strange. The fastest graphic cards use 512MB. Would it not be enough you think. The amount of high res textures you get into 256MB is enough. If you can get the amount higher it would be slightly better. If you use streaming. And so far the only console that has proven (MGS4) it can really handle highres textures is the PS3, so the 360 is not all that.
The graphics are not chugging, and the gameplay is so good that you cannot stop playing.
Im sorry to see these bad (fake) reviews. A friend of mine who was a big sceptic, and hated Sony for lying about the power of the PS3, totally changed his mind when he saw MGS4. This game is so impressive it blows away any competition. If you are a 360 fanboy don't fall for these bad reviews, they are not speaking the truth about this game. Actually your wrong. If you look at the pictures its the PS3 that has AA not the 360. I prefer the PS3.
The PS3 will always have the edge. If you knew something about graphics you would know that PS3 has the power to do AA, and atmospherical effects, better lighting. The 360 doesn't which results in a more PC look. I actually want the PS3 look cause the little extra detail proven in some games, the graphical effects and this is what I want. The PS3's got a different better look with more power and nicer graphics as a result.
I think the game got so low scores is because it is better than Halo 3. They just cant let it go.

The 360 cannot handle more advanced graphics than this. Its good but not enough for me. The other thing is on 360 games, they often release images of a higher resolution than what is in the actual game. This disappoints me still as much as it did from the beginning when I owned a 360. Low res graphics and low res textures is the truth. Hi res images on gamesites, edited videos, it has gone to far. Bye.
Change your ps3 HDMI settings, save and restart and it will work.
I don't think there is a problem at all. I think allot of xbots are calling sonys helpdesk (a joke). Besides GTA has always crashed on all platforms. Played the last one on PC and it crashed all the time. This PS3 version has not crashed once, and that is amazing for being GTA.
