By this time the PS3 has already shown every potential buyer and game lover what it can do, thanks to some amazing developers. Still some xbox fans are actually downgrading these artists and entrepreneurs in this field for no reason other than to get back at Sony. Why, who cares about Sony... I as a consumer want to have a great experience from my console and the artists have delivered just that on the PS3 many times over already.

Stop the complaints. Offcourse it is copy protected. Did anyone really think that you could just buy the game and then spread it all around your friends for free. Or even sell to maby lets say ten people who all paid you 10 so you could make a profit. Eh.

What Sony did is to make a machine that is superor in gaming, added Blu-Ray for free, and sold it to us so cheap it has to be called a bargain. They set a standard that you would be able to do just about anything with you entertainment unit.
Those who bought HD-DVD had to pay way more for just a dumb player, not even capaple of real webbrowsing. For what, so you can sit and chat about a movie. Wake up, Everyones already got internet. And they are using their computers to chatt about mo...
Guess what. The next thing all those PS3 owners will want to buy. A HDTV. Why? Whell they want to play games, surf, watch movies, record tv, Blu-Ray..... And they will want it this christmas cause they want to watch Blu-Ray, play little big planet, uncharted, Assasins...etc. Then you will know. And they will say its great, better than the PS2, and more people will want to buy a PS3 and play games, watch Blu-Ray, surf the web.... If you buy a 360, you only want to play games, play games, play ...
Ive got a PS3, HDTV 1080p, I buy Blu-Ray movies. I bet you that many will also. Look here. If Blu-Ray sells 2:1 this probably mean that those buyers have a HDTV, and obviously they want to watch HD films. And what did they want also. They wanted to play games, connect to the internet, watch Blu-Ray.
I get your point but, why is MS not releasing some "new" angels on their games. Allmost all the top games are the same genre. If you look at the PS3, the devs are really trying to create something new and groundbreaking. I know you will disagree but I think the PS3 is more out there, trying to reach the essense of innovation, making new art. Microsoft is only doing the same all over all the time and that is boring.
You can play almost all the titles on PS3 that the 360 has. Then you got the exlusive games. Ridge racer, F1, Motorstorm, Resistanse, Ninja Gaiden, Tekken, Super stardust HD is great, Warhawk (wowhawk), and more. Soon you will get to play, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Unreal, Assasins Creed, GT pro, and lots more. Some of these games are AAA.

Yes there is already are lots of great games for the PS3.
I think that MS, Sony and Nintendo has an agreement to share the market between them. They will pretend to fight but they are in a tuff situation.
MS wants the hardcore, sells alot of games. midstream.
Sony wants the highend market, sells HD material and will get the same amount sold as MS in the long run.
Nintendo wants the little people and the middle aged to old.

Shipped, not sold! MS is playing with the numbers. If you go to a store and want a Wii you will have a hard time getting one, its always sold out. This does not apply to the 360.

But I really dont see what all the hype is about. It's not that good, I have played better games you know, more inovative and much cooler than this. Its not all bad but Ive gotten tired of all this Halo hype. I loved the trailer, however this game is not even close to the feel of the trailer. Not with graphics, and not with gameplay. I want something new and revolutionary to this genre something next gen. I really do not hate the 360, its just hardware, ive just gotten tired of the Halo hype....
It's just a game. It will be just like the others, nothing special. And when the fight is over, your 360 will break down and then it will be scrapped, on the halo scrapyard. So don't get all in your panties about it.
