it works for nintendo, because they have a lot of diverse characters that go about an adventure in unique ways.
for example the disparity between R&C, J&D, and sly wouldnt be much honestly.
kratos is unique... but it becomes complicated in bringing in human characters.. sure snake worked well, but can you imagine drake working well in this game?

i dont know. i like U3 and GOW3 as the best looking console games.
as far as character animations.. i think DICE is talking about jumping and such. U3 is def in a class in its own in this regard.
but KZ3 doesnt really have immersive animations besides their death ones.. cause those are spot on.
i understand shutting down old games.. but games like madden 10? tw10?
those games came out last year, at least keep them up for 2 more years.. they just want to force people to move on to the next iteration (which usually has little improvements)
in fact the only sports games that have vast year to year improvemetns are the MLB the show, NBA2k, and NHL

it would be great to have the pokemon trainer choose which pokemon out of x to use... or if not give you squirtle bulbasaur and charmander, and as you battle they gain XP, and they can evolve :D

i played both.. i like halo more than hl2, but i appreciate what hl2 did for FPS genre.
cod4 has been the best COD... it was actually a fair, hardcore and tight game...
back when perks didnt turn the tide of a game, but just gave you a slight advantage, killstreaks were simple and not overpowering, and lastly level design was phenomenal.
