and above, the thing with the ps2 was that SONY still had enough first party studios to churn up first party exclusives and new IPs.. something NINTENDO fails to do nowadays.
and sony is not spending "SO MUCH TIME" bringing ps2 games back in HD glory, they have more new core titles coming out. the fans are the ones asking for the HD collections, ...

no. Gamestop buys my used games i dont even touch, and very quickly. until shipping is done quickly, i will always trade in my games at gamestop.

when the ps3 first came out, it was comparable to an above average PC. thats nothing to scoff at, especially when you cant upgrade components besides HDD

i think lbp2 didnt sell as much as the first because really, there wasnt much new things to do.. i always thought it wouldve been better to release extras as dlc for lbp (such as the water pack). kz3 didnt do as well as kz2, because GG decided to cater to COD fanbase, and basically created a MP that is unbalanced and has no image of its own.

the last decent single player campaign was MW.. everything else is tacked on.. no character progression, just action straight from a michael bay movie. I love michael bay movies.. to watch, but to play.. man they would get dull very quickly.

halo did bring FPS genre into the world, and glorified it. I appreciate what it brought to the FPS genre along with Half Life 2.. but honestly the best FPS i've played is a tie between cod4 and bc2.
motion gaming is not great because its not one to one yet... and its still hard to keep the player immersed..
once we get to holographic displays, you may be able to immerse a person a lot better, in 60 years. lol

IG wants to be independent, and if this multiplat title doesnt do as well, in terms of sales.. i can see IG pursuing talks with SONY for a purchase

looks like a great concept. however its not for me.
i already force my eyes to play video games, watch 3d, and i would not wear that in public lol.
besides that looks like SONY will cater this product to people with money, as the starting price is likely to exceed $500. Maybe in future iterations the price goes down, resolution goes up, and more people will jump on board.
