i disagree on bioshock being the only FPS to do story games well this gen. Take a look at Killzon and Resistance series. Those games are driven by compelling stories, even if some of the characters are way overdone, such as the excessive vulgarity in KZ2. Nevertheless, the games delivered on SP. I can't really say the same about COD or BC2, or BF3. They seem more like MP with bots, imo.
too bad its hard to find full games..
i feel sorry for IG, brought the game out in a very difficult stretch of AAA games. maybe should've held on like Twisted Metal did for a early 2012 release.
amazing game, yet people flock to the generic Mw3.
bf3 is a better game technically than mw3, what we are seeing is reviewers jumping in on the hype, and in the conclusion always say its the same game.. and dont knock of points for that, but if it wer some other game, the reviewers would have no mercy.
BF3 sold 5 million in first day... thats pretty good.
i rented mw3, and rated it with a 8. same game, same engine, nothing really new.

Well let's begin by saying Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is not a bad game. In fact, after my redbox rental i give an 8. It has a weak storyline, very similar to Michael Bay's Transformers, but for $60 I should have more. Multiplayer is addictive as always. both games are driven on their uniquely crafted stories. In fact, these two FPS are the reason why we still have solid campaigns, not your tick tacked COD campaigns.
however in Kz3 i felt like i was constantly pulled out of the experience with all those cutscenes.. i much prefer what they did in kz2. Resistance 3 story was amazing, even for its shortness, but the ending was a drop off a cliff.

uncharted 3 for the most part, you can rely on ND to deliver quality products, unlike the shoddy map packs for $15 from activision. Although I'm very disappointed with the character packs being so pricey. Dont get me wrong i loved running around as cole or a helghast in U2, but for $3.99 that was a bit too high.

man i remember playing CTF in MW2 and got nuke twice (theres 2 rounds). Let's face it MW3 is not challenging, and its done this way so many people feel like they are good at something. I guess that's all we want in this world.
