far cry 2? no it was rated just right. it was buggy, the AI story director sucked, and in some cases blocked the player with continuing the story if you did something differently. The AI story director is a nice way into storytelling, but as with Oblivion, it just wasnt as great as promised. Granted they are some of the few games to really push the idea front and center.
I love coop. I havent tried competitive, because of my poor use of hawks. Anyways, can someone answer, if the only way to play coop online is by inviting friends.

i love what half life 2 brought to the industry.. mostly cutscenes... but really the game was mediocre. I didn't enjoy it as much as others say. story was subpar for me. But i can see why it should b in the top 10 as it revolutionized the FPS. COD4 needs to be higher. Shame Activision brought the quality down.
better late than never. I've said it before.. SONY should be talking to GOOGLE about potentially bringing a version of Chrome for the PS3. They are great partners after all.

The biggest issue with digital is you can't sell it, and in most cases you dont really own the content. See EA recently with Origins, and take a peak at Steam ToS. Digital should be considerably cheaper, and I cant wrap my head around choosing digital over physical. The only valid reason for me is portability, but even then some games can only be "activated" on one machine.
borderlands with Knoxx DLC is big in quality and quantity.

the trailer was just a bunch of garbage put together. Now I love action movies.. such as transformers, nothing better than seeing mayhem, destruction and robots duke it out in a sandbox. I hardly care for the story. But thats $10, for a video game at $60, at least for me, I have to have more than mindless destruction.

nintendo first because of the massive quartly drop off, which does not look in a very volatile casual market they target. SONY because they are banking on the gaming division (including music & video) to keep the company afloat and then some. Microsoft is really the only that could lay an egg and come out ok.

honestly, gta is the biggest name in the business, it will come out on whatever day it wants and it will sell like hotcakes.

i think a lot of people are missing a key factor in this game. SONY can use this game to even market other games. I'm sure some people will be like this sweet tooth guy were is he from.. etc.
remember most gamers don't buy/play every game, and go on gaming news websites.
idk. i found RDR environment to be boring. the storytelling, and specifically John Morston were phenomenal.
