This was already confirmed, EA announced it at their last year's E3 event.

That's reasonable and I'm glad you're happy with your decision to purchase it this early on. You like the look of the console, you like the specs, you like the upgrades to your older games and you know that games that you will enjoy are on the horizon. Those same reasons are why I feel buying a Series X is justifiable.
Okay and why do you feel that purchasing a PS5 is justifiable at this time, when there is only a remake and crossgen games available on the PS4?
I'm not sure to take you seriously or not. Xbox can do both new games and old, they didn't recently obtain all these big Studios for nothing. And can you name one game that was even remotely episodic that they have released on gamepass? Yeah me neither.
At this point they should just get rid of it, right now they're just giving away money to developers for games that their subscribers either already played years ago or games that few people have interest in, they should just take that money and give back to subscribers in a different way.
The last Halo did, though MS have seemed to change their stance on them since.
