They were still able to produce more console than they had at the beginning of previous gens, hence why it's the fastest selling console in the US. The pandemic may have slowed production, but it has also created more demand, which is why gaming hardware sales are up 81% year to date.
The thing is sold out, halo or no halo, they can't sale consoles that they don't have.

Eh the thing lingers around for hours sometimes days before selling out, that shows that demand is not as strong for the S as the X and PS5. I imagine a lot of the sales are from people who decided to settle for it because they couldn't get a X.

These complaints being used are just weak. A unfinished game looks unfinished? It may end up not having a lot of depth, but we haven't seen enough of it to determine that. The compaint for the remakes "I don't like the chibi look", the old games had chibi characters...
You complained about them not making a big open world game, they do it and you still complain.

It'll show off more of Pokemon Snap and that Pokemon moba that they showed a few months back, I don't expect much else.
They did say beforehand that it would focus on games releasing in the 1st half of the year, so not sure why some people were expecting to see BOTW2 or Metroid.
Well they did just update their online infrastructure, so maybe we'll see some changes.
