I understand why they delayed the game and I'm sure it benefitted from the delay but I think this hurt the momentum somewhat. When you spend money on advertising and getting the word out and all of the fans are hot and heavy for it only to push the game out 3 more months it can hurt the hype wave somewhat. Especially when ME2 is coming out so close to their date. I have no doubt it will be a great game but my excitement over it is not quite what it was before.
Agreed. I was disappointed that they didn't have this in Paradise. Sorta like if they took plasmids out of Bioshock.
So maybe I'll sue them if they come out with DLC called "The Tales of Straight Frank". How dare they use the word "straight". I'm so upset and offended by that word. You get my point? We live in an over litigious society that has lost all common sense. Sad to see really.
The Soviet and the dog thing has been done before. It's sounding more and more like a typical FPS which is exactly what I don't want to see happen. Bioshock did a good job of seperating itself from the competition by being good and UNIQUE. I hope they don't screw the formula up. I know it's too soon to really tell but I have a not so good feeling about it right now.
They rely on gore too much to try and make things scarey. Gore is all fine and dandy but when you use it too much it becomes a crutch. When you use good storytelling and atmosphere correctly (see Bioshock and Dead Space) you can suck people into the game. RE6 needs to revisit its roots and revamp its control system.
Crap, that's like having no zombies in RE5. That stings a bit, damn. Also only co-op mode if they can do it correctly. God forbid the single player co-op AI is as dumb as in RE5. That could potentially ruin this game. I'm still keeping faith that they do this series justice though!
Yeah, I haven't played the SF series since SFII I think. It's been a lot of relearning with SFIV.
I've had a helluva time getting off the QCFx2 + PPP consistantly with the new fightpad. I spent hours in training mode trying to get it down
but to no avail. I'm actually more successful when I execute this while fighting from the right side than from the left for some reason.
I'm envious of you guys with the arcade sticks. I bet it's much easier to pull of th...
What do you guys recommend? I don't want to drop a wad of cash on it but also don't want to buy a piece of crap. Thanks
I noticed the camera issues within the first 5 minutes of the demo. They're not as crappy as say Ninja Gaiden but they need some serious work. I was expecting more of a wow factor but was a little disappointed. The graphics I would consider to be top-tier last generation graphics, but I understand if they had to sacrifice to keep the framerate decent. I would give the demo a 6.5 out of 10. The important thing is that SK takes these things to heart and improves the issues before the game is re...
I haven't damned the game at all, BUT, I did notice the camera difficulties however they aren't nearly as bad as what we saw with Ninja Gaiden. Also, I was disappointed with the graphics. For a game that was in development this long it should have better graphics IMO. I could see them having to downgrade the graphics to keep the framerate up. Playing the demo I just wasn't overly impressed like I wanted to be. I've only played as the champion though, I hear the berserker class is a bit more f...
with the Demo. I was expecting a higher tier of graphics. To me this is not graphically up to par with the great games released over the last year. I believe they had to sacrifice some of the graphics to keep the framerate up. Don't get me wrong I'm not hatin on the game, but I was expecting more. A lot of people are saying they enjoy the berserker class more so I may give that a try
I've spent countless hours in all things GTA as well and though I'm only a few hours into GTAIV I'm impressed. The improved graphics, great dialogue, and improved AI are just a few reasons. Long live GTA!!!
to get their sh*t together pretty quick. I prefer Rock Band over GHIII in nearly every way. They focused more on having fun and its paid off for them. I wonder if Activision is going to pursue the full band concept and get over their guitar-centeredness. I'm an old bastard gamer from the 80s gen, so I'd love for both games to offer more obscure 80s music, "Flock of Seagulls" anyone?
the 360 is passed its peak. How can you say this when greatness such as GOW2 and the inevitable BioShock2 are in the future?
I have to admit, like Mr. Bling, I don't appreciate having to worry from day to day whether I will see green lights or red lights on my console. I feel like I really have to baby the damn thing to have any measure of security. I love the 360 games and feel like the PS3 library can't compete at this point in time, but I really can't believe there are still...
I was really caught off guard with the crappy graphics and voice acting. When you have Oblivion to hold as a standard and you play this sort of sad garbage the differences are night and day. Very disappointed.
disgusting, disturbing, piece of trash "game" sold to kids as "art". and we wonder why our society is increasingly more *ucked up, this crap certainly doesn't help
if the songs are added to the bonus songs section in career mode or if they get dispursed to the 8 song sections and become part of what you will need to play in career mode to complete it.
The colors are not displayed in order. So if you've been playing lots of GHII like I have this will confuse you lots and lots. Please tell me there's some sort of GHII option you can select to force the colors into the order GHII displays them! I was looking forward to this game thinking it would match the GHII color orders but unless there is a way to change this in the BBR game options I am completely screwed....
According to the boys at GameStop they will just have the wired guitar bundled, but offer a wireless one at a later date
IMO if you're getting every game released there is an over-saturation that can happen. Pretty soon no one game seems to feel special anymore. Since you don't have to work for the money to pay for these games there is nothing that feels deserved or earned. The excitement isn't the same as if you actually planned and anticipated making a purchase for a game that you were looking forward to. In a way you could say that it is harmful to your gaming experience. Just something to think about.
