This is a fact. Reviews have proved it just like how they prove that Uncharted 2 is a good game even though I do not like it. I try my best to ignore reviews, videos, and any information about a game until after I buy it. I only saw one video of GoW 2 and 3 videos for MW2. This is mostly because I hate spoilers.
MW2 is an example of good hype. Games like GTA IV(in my opinion), Haze, Lair, and Halo Wars is the bad type of hype that ends up getting you to buy a crappy game.

He interviewed a couple people at his job and decides that everyone is like that. My PS3 stays off and to the side unless I get a blu-ray movie. Uncharted 2 did not even keep me playing it. I like the game, but there are so many other good games like The Beatles: Rock Band, Borderlands, Forza 3, Brutal Legend, etc. that Uncharted 2 just floated on to the wayside. Once you have gone achievements you can't switch to trophies.
