obviously, my point was that i hope it's not a game changer because regretting my decision to switch would suck, and i would feel like i was missing out.
yea... considering the fact that my friends and i have jumped ship to the ps4... i'm kind of hoping it's NOT. ;)
i loved my 360 controller way more than my ps3 controller, so i'm hoping the DS4 is as good as everyone claims it is. If the xbone's new triggers are really cool, that'd be a hard one to swallow.
Yea no, how we're the XBO's rumble triggers for shooting?
I own a ps3 and 360, and mainly prefer my 360 for gaming because of; friends, party/chat system, and controller. I REALLY prefer the 360 controller over ds3...
But in switching to ps4 because; controller and party chats are on par with 360, the system itself is not only better spec-ed, but it's )100 cheaper... And a HUGE reason I'm switching is the value of games Sony has given out through ps+. For $10 cheaper, Sony rewards it's gamers with a crazy amount of big n...
While I can acknowledge all the steps infinity Ward has made to make call of duty even better this year, to the point of being really impressed by all the customizations and additions/options... but I can't help it feel that the gameplay and the match played just feels little stale. It's fast paced run and gun, and while there is a market for that,I'm just kind of over it. Onto bigger and better battlefield 4
It's clear Activision has upped their game this time with Cod: Ghosts... Bringing a Ton of options to the gamer, but this game is just getting so stale. Watching The presentation, and hearing about all the possibilities, I couldn't help but get a little intrigued. But after watching the multiplayer match, just kind of looked like same old call of duty, fast-paced shooter with no tactical approach. Just run in guns blazing kind of stuff. And I'm kind of over it.

'The last of us' was like a 17 hour experience... Well worth the $60, in my opinion. And games like battlefield, gta, and skyrim are easily worth $60 for all the playtime you get out if them.
Bf4 is my main reason for picking up a launch console
Yet you clicked on this page... If you don't want someone else's opinion, don't click on their piece, genius.
true, i think the fact that it's a yearly release adds to the monotony
are there people who are still excited for this game? The way activision approaches marketing and teaser trailers, it seems as if they think people are.
Here's a tip, if you want to see the multiplayer, throw in any cod in the last 5 years, and imagine new symbols for old perks. Maybe a few different looking helicopters... but thats it. You're welcome
yea, i understand they want to make money and that's fine. I just didn't know if there was anything different or special with the characters that they couldn't do in-game
Two perspectives...
1. They listened to their customers and are changing their whole plan because of feedback
2. They have no idea what they're doing and just playing catchup. For a company who was so gung ho certain about their 'plan' for the future, 24 hr checkins, every console having kinect to give developers unique developing opportunities, they've sure given enough reason to permanently change the name to Xbox one-eighty. For a company...
Bf4 and oculus rift for me... Ground combat mixed with aircraft flying and parachuting. Epic
@potatostix
Clearly, this is beyond your level of understanding. It's ok, I'll use small words
For a company who was so gung ho certain about their product, and denied til they were blue in the face of any sort of change once they heard the gamers negative outcry, stating that their product is amazing, the future, game changing... Etc ... On the fact that they've completely changed their 'vision' of the console multiple times, I find it ha...
Not at all, just their poor decision making in the first place not to include it.
Their whole stance from the console announcement was 'trust us, we know what we're doing, just wait"... Etc...
But since, they've flip flopped so many times it's hard to trust them when they themselves, aren't sure what the hell they're doing
I just Posted this in another article, but this seems more appropriate here
I for one, didn't care about the 24 check ins, or the always on kinect 2.0... They had a vision and it was unique. I was excited to see what it would become...
But now they're just playing catchup... They reversed their DRM, they've reversed their headset bundle decision, and now they've reversed their kinect connection requirement. All because of the negative gamers ou...

this is totally next gen gaming. I can't wait for this. with this... gamers don't need to spend thousands of dollars on big tvs. The OcRift gives you immersion like no other
‘I want a game where walking to the bus stop is a challenge"
... So you want a zombie game or a rape game?! :O
