And I seriously doubt it. Expansion packs require a fan base and with all the crap DICE has pulled with BC2 they really don't have a large one anymore.

Indeed, the battle system was great.
But, as a huge fan of FFX I felt like X-2's story just didn't do it any justice. I hate how Yuna went from a respectable summoner to a singer who dresses like a whore.
Hot? Sure, but it's not the same Lady Yuna I grew close to in FFX. Also sucks that it was only 3 characters in the party throughout the entire game, and you couldn't even use Aeons.
FFX, my favorite game of all time. Great to see it mentioned.
I was about 10 when I first played it, I didn't know English that well so I could barely understood the story. Hell I played through half the game without using the Sphere Grid because I didn't understand it. But like all 10 year olds I bought myself a Gameshark and when I got to the end, I ran into a bug and couldn't beat it.
Then when I was 13 I played through it with an older cousin...
Great lists, disappointed that not many of them chose FFX. Personally my favorite game of all time, just a beautiful story and the graphics for the time were stunning.

I dropped my jaw when they said X-2 was better than X. Are they fucking high? X-2's gameplay was good, but not better than X. I personally prefer the more strategic and slow paced battles of FFX than the constant action in X-2, X-2 just didnt feel like an RPG. And the story of X was so much better, the ending actually made me cry.
And even if they consider X-2 better, why isn't FFX anywhere on the list of 36 fucking games?

I think it's bull how he says the fighting is shallow. There is plenty of depth, he just didn't bother to learn how to actually play. Just from watching the gameplay I can tell he sucks at this game. He doesn't recharge his chakra frequently enough and doesnt even know how to substitute properly.

The actual fighting is fine, it's simple and intense. But there is strategy to it, play against good players and you'll find yourself getting owned if you don't think first. I used to just rush in with the Chakra Dash and my IRL friends always owned me.
But I do wish there was a training mode where the enemy doesn't take damage, just to get used to certain characters a bit easier. Don't know why they left that out.

IGN's been giving low scores to everything lately. But I'm sure when the big budget games like AC: Brotherhood and Black Ops come out we'll be seeing 9-10s all over.

Hell people it's not like COD is alone in this. What DICE does is way worse. The VIP "map packs" were a complete joke, they were maps we already had for other game modes. They should have been in the game on day one, yet DICE held it back and drip fed us those maps to make it appear as though we were getting new content.
Well here we are 7 months after BC2's release, and still no new maps. It's pathetic. I personally would LOVE for DICE to release a map ...
Yeah, they gave Naruto Storm 2 an 8. I got it, beat it, and I can say it's easily a 9 at the least. Has no bugs/glitches from what I've played, the graphics are amazing, the QTEs during boss battles are just stunning, and the actual fighting is intense.
It lost the repetitiveness of the original and added a ton of new characters and features. Yet IGN gave it a lower score than the original.

I liked it, the story was decent although the beginning was too slow. The graphics are amazing and some of the action cutscenes really made me go "Wow!". But, it just didnt feel like a FF game. Was far too linear and the fact that there was no traversable world map just ruined it.
