They obviously have more to show but I somewhat agree. Ratchet and clank, spider man expansion and horizon 2 would be a solid first party launch but it’s nothing system selling imo. Not to anyone that wasn’t buying a ps5 regardless. That said, I’m interested in 90% of the games shown.
Makes sense especially from the Xbox “family” platform aspect. I would still expect them to change the UI for all of their systems if that was the case.
Demos would be more effective. Every indie on the 360 had a demo, many full games had demos. I bought a ton of games because of this simple hands on approach. A demo on the PlayStation store has much more exposure than e3. Platforms can do much more to promote good content, I agree. It’s also too honest for most I believe. In order for mandatory demos to benefit you actually have to create a good game.
Yeah it looks like resident evil 4 setting with re7 controls. I’m really hyped to see more and try it. I’m also hyped they said more action than re7 because there really wasn’t much action or enemy variety in re7.

I decided to go ahead and buy it. If everyone but polygon likes it, it’s probably legit. I’m curious to see what the die hards of the first game think about it. I don’t have the same reverence so the leak impact will be interesting to see play out from that perspective.

Show some games. Some demonstrations that make use of the new features. Maybe the UI and home screen. We really don’t ask for much lol.
I think some are just happy they don’t have to defend the silence any more and make ridiculous excuses lol. That show was great, that little glimpse was all I asked for and it wasn’t too much to ask. I will be getting many of those games.

Ehhhh lol. I’m not a fan of the “tower” design on either console. What’s up with the Dracula cape flaps? In the end, it’s not what I’m buying it for so it is at the very bottom of my priorities. I certainly won’t compliment it as something appealing either.

So many cool looking games! Definitely buying RE village, death loop, little devil inside, pragmata, Kena and project athia. Others looked cool too but those burned in my brain.
2 hours of ps5 games.. I’m going to have a hard time not peaking at my phone lol. I don’t get off of work until 6 EST and I want to watch it on the TV. Must resist :)
Luckily I hold nothing sacred from the first game. If it was more or the same I wouldn’t be interested at all. I’m looking forward to seeing what some reviews say.
There is no such thing as a hyper negative fan lol. I’m not going to take the review as gospel I’m just going to see what they have to say. A hyper fan will make excuses for every flaw, ignore aspects because of their excitement. I’m not holding that against people or hating on their hype, that kind of thinking just doesn’t help my decision. Do you know what I mean?

God of war 2 for example. High profile. New ip maybe? I’m sure they have plenty more to show, that’s not the point. “Greatest launch line up in history” Okay if you say so.
