Can anyone tell location by the architecture in the comment photo? My guess is Thailand?
I can’t help but feel an agenda behind the violence. A studio that removes and apologizes for violence in its previous games go directly towards a realistic depiction of ultra violence? I’m not against it or anything, I enjoy violent media but I think there is purpose beyond the revenge circle cliche behind this game. The factions, locations, the loss, the cries from loss, gore. It seems like a desensitize campaign, almost prophetic. The more we see of stuff like this, the less we are shocked...
I like it.
It sucks working for Activision? Who knew 😂
I have been waiting for a ghost story games announcement for years. Levine poking his head out is a good sign. Hopefully next gen launch title!
Everything is about to rise lol. That’s what happens when you tank your own economy on purpose.
I’m a shareholder lol. Just an idea for a consumer reference. If I see a game that cost 70 and it has a AA rating next to the age rating then I might question it a bit. Maybe look more into it. An objective and fair metric could be made for “value in content” imo.
@hakuoro
This article isn’t about the millions playing smash. It’s about the smash competitive community. The people who play “pro” in live tournaments. 50 prominent people in the competitive tournament scene is a lot bro. That’s crazy. “There’s no way everyone didn’t know this” crazy.
I wouldn’t mind a tier system. Maybe a self regulated board like the esrb that determines value for content. Littered with MTs? 0-10 dollars. An indie 20-30. AA 40-50. AAA 60-70.
Title is too similar to not get hyped. Their last game didn’t do so hot. They will go back to their bread and butter and it will be glorious.
Meth gators, aliens and the Yellowstone volcano.
Absolutely. I did not mean to imply otherwise. Only that smaller devs need the MTs more than most and not all MTs are evil. They sound like they aren’t abusing it and releasing a full game. If you like biomutant then consider purchasing a costume or two, that’s all.
Nice. Same week as game demo trials I believe. Such a great idea.
Nintendo is kid friendly. It’s aimed at a wholesome audience like the hallmark channel lol. 24/7 holiday feel good. Not every game needs a miserable and depressing story to be fun. I just don’t see what that has to with anything. You can even be an adult that’s fanatical about wholesome characters without being an abusive loser who preys on kids. Leave people (Especially kids) alone and I don’t care what you’re into lol.
Yes it is. This article is about sexual abuse and harassment. The article or my comment had nothing to do with fanaticism but thanks for sharing.
I mean Nintendo is for families. There is nothing wrong with enjoying characters from your childhood with your kids. When you are 30 going to smash tournaments with 13 year olds then you are probably a predator.
That’s what the fanatics were saying lol. I don’t share that view, I didn’t like the first. Only a fanatic would send a death threat to a developer about video game characters. I didn’t need an explanation on how their opinions were wrong. I don’t care, that’s not the point. My point was why it escalated the way it did.
Fanatics love the characters, the second ruins the characters(you disagree, I get it), they share their disappointment and get shouted down or worse. The es...
“No microtransactions!”
I hate to say it but a costume post launch is a microtransaction. A perfectly acceptable MT in my view. The word has been so demonized that developers have to pretend they aren’t selling them.
This is a game made by a very small team and they have done a phenomenal job by the looks of it. Stop harassing them with this useless jargon. Buy another costume or 2 to support their efforts 😉
This has been going on for awhile though. The smash base was always pretty weird. You don’t have to follow the smash scene closely to hear of all the rumors. The pedophilia stuff was especially disturbing but it was all accusations when I heard it.
Oh ok thanks
