Shame really...it was a great series.
This is where you blame IGN until every other publication says the same thing and you suddenly go quiet about it.
So the cycle continues.
I've played through all the games 3 times each, and I'm happy about everything except the ending.
I'm not throwing a bitch fit about it. I loved ME3, the bad ending isn't something I let ruin the rest of the game for me.
I pity everyone who does.
Freeman is over rated in my eyes. Give him an appearance you never see in game, and a name, and that somehow makes him a great protagonist?
I think having a geeky look while being able to kick ass gives him appeal to geeks world wide or something.
I don't know. I love Half Life 1 + 2 but never cared for the main character, and it's likely due to him being a mute.
It's the same with alot of silent protagonists, they're only bet...
One score that you don't agree with doesn't make it not credible.
It's like all of the drooling fanboys who'll selectively call IGN "IGNorant" until their favourite game franchise gets a high score and change their tone. Kinda.
I'll admit I never heard of this publication, but a score that low has to ring alarm bells.
Bioware are stupid for listening to the reaction to the original ending. Could it have been worse than what we got?
Hmm, the disagrees you get tells me haters have taken over the comments section.
My main complaint with the ending was the sheer lack of closure, more so than it not being affected at all by choices made. The choices made in the game are at least reflected in some way before you finish it.
The rest of the game was absolutely superb, the end was just a huge let down.
Replying to your early comment to post this.
Re-downloading your gamertag fixes the issue. It happened to me, and I don't own MW3.
No film has ever gripped me emotionally as much as the Mass Effect series did.
I completely dissagree with the author.
It's real time buddy. Accept it.
The unreal engine 3 had a real time demo when it was first announced and it was never falsified.
"Bullshots" and other childish drivel don't apply to when new game engines are being demonstrated.
Game costs are more to do with production, rather than the level of detail in graphics.
See my earlier comment about drivelling ps3 fanboys being the worst offenders for these nonsense claims.
This level of stupidity is what makes me dislike reading the comments here.
It's bad for both consoles. The Ps3 fanboys are the worst offenders though. They still believe a 7 year old console is some alien hardware with so much potential.
(before you start, I'm a ps3 owner, and love my ps3 exclusives. not everyone who owns a ps3 or 360 is a drivelling fantard, that's not what i'm saying)
At least here we're only hearing the same thing we hear from every console develeper, for every game they make, ever.
What, 9/10 is a low score?
That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I thought people saying 8/10 is low were bad.
You are everything that's wrong with todays generation of gamers.
they're
Played Blops on the PC and it seemed fine to me. Imagine that.
Why do you people buy COD games when all you end up doing is complaining they aren't as good?
Why watching people say each COD rendition isn't as good as the last is getting old.
Why all COD games don't deserve the sales they get since COD4.
Then play it on PC, where it'll run a more powerful engine at 60fps and above.
This is why console gamers have ruined the potential of PC gaming.
COD used to be a decent PC game.
Swing and a miss.
