@tothemoon
You claim "fanboyism" but you're the only one who hasn't used facts to back up his claims, and blindly cling to Nintendo's nuts.
"Who invented mario"? Really? Mario?
The same recycled, unoriginal mascot serves as some bullet-proof holy grail to gaming for you?
The Mario games are good, but they aren't they only game series that pushed the boundries and broke records out there. He...
I agree with you there. People are too quick to side with who was doing it first, rather than who helped bring gaming to where it is today.
I'd say they're about equal though. They both deserve praise and wouldn't be where they are without the other.
DRM is just the wrong solution that punishes people who don't pirate games.
The stupid IGN hatewagon is still running I see.
The article writer also doesn't know the difference between metacrics Metascore and USER score.
The USER score is low. Who cares.
Don't be so bitter.
I wonder how you were able to see the "polygonal detail" without any wireframe or polygons being displayed in these images?
Unless you are able to tell the difference between normal maps, polygons, and what's tesselated on an object at a distance.
No. You can't.
Removing the aim assist would be enough for me. Get rid of all those "trick-shotters" who were made to look better than they are.
Oh and please remove the broken, over-powered knifing.
By definition this is not in-game, because it's a cinematic.
Unless you're trying to say this was player controlled. Read my above post.
"In-engine" cinematics are still often different from "in-game" visuals you'll find, even when "in-engine" they will use models with higher detail for cinematics.
Just because it's cinematics aren't pre rendered doesn't mean that it's going to be the same level of detail when you're actually playing the game. In fact that is rarely the case.
Nearly all games do this today. Cinematics use even more tricks t...
Honestly, user scores are something I've always ignored for reasons like this.
Yeah, "like they COULD".
They're only the most critically, commercially and financially successful game developer in the world, having built a lot of that success on RPGs.
They've only been in the record books for their success in each field. "Like they could make an RPG like Skyrim."
DUHHRRR
I would say thanks for the demo, but I already know not to buy it.
Because bugs really stopped the games being awesome to begin with.
Dumbest comment with the most agrees I ever saw.
Your post is part of the reason people hate this place.
Stupid reasons for bandwagonning against publications like IGN.
I agree with you on COD, but that's a different matter.
I agree with number 32 though >_O
@mr_badhand
It should probably say "The N4G community" really.
The story/writing in gears is good.
It's not the best out there, but it fits perfectly with the style. I cared a lot about the characters in the gears series.
Dead Space games are great, but I wouldn't hold the writing of those games above gears at all.
Firefox + adblock plus = no video adverts.
Someone already made that joke, so I guess you can't count to 2.
Oh shit, they're doing something fresh and original. Damn them!
Why couldn't they just copy/paste the previous games so we could spend money on the same thing all over again?
