Isn't this really old? Why is this popping up again?!
Because Microsoft's trying to repair it's overall brand not, Xbox. Sure, Xbox's brand was obliterated two years ago with the reveal but that's now back on track.
Microsoft knows that to be a great consumer company it needs a solid brand which it hasn't had for 10 years.
That's where they're spending the big bucks..

@Septic
There's a lot you could do, even if just a tech demo:
Woman in black (she's standing in the corner)
The Shining (Jack Nicholson axing my door)
The grudge (Kid hiding under my table and the girl crawling on my ceiling)
On a more positive note, Porn could change forever..
OR the beta will be a checked version containing no bugs (from months ago) then when it launches it will be "filled with new features"...creepy crawly features.
I still think just watching horror films will be terrifying. First thing that comes to mind is The Ring...
When it worked, BF4 won the "best shooter" for me.
As for the title that keeps my girlfriend feeling included in my gaming, Garden Warfare smashed it for me. She would sit there being my personal medic on smartglass while I did the important stuff.
It shouldn't because "consoles are dead"..
As much as EA do grind my gears, they did publish some cracking games at the end of last year.
This. It would be good to do it remotely but it won't happen. The biggest advancement would be them updating wirelessly but again, I can't see that happen.
"Look, I know, that headline is clickbait."
Fixed.
You're more trusting than I am, there's not a chance I would detach myself from reality while travelling alone! I'd consider AR but not VR.
Exactly. Instead of speculating on which is better how about we actually just wait for them to be released and see what the experiences are like?!
Yes! Can't wait :D
Yes comparisons are always to the same quarter the year before.
The funny thing is, most Xbox gamers are still catching up with the flood of awesome games at the end of last year.
SSO, MCC, FH2, COD...etc. Those games haven't just disappeared! They're still in my "to finish" pile.
...Comes to a Windows 10 article to post about Linux. That's cool, there's never many gaming-Linux articles so welcome..
Yeah, only way that'll happen is if the MCC can be streamed to PC ;)
@Testfire and rpgenius
Actually they only keep the updates going for corporations who exclusively pay for custom support.
Likewise "they'll probably drop support for Vista soon", Vista support timelines are well known to expire April 11, 2017 in line with the 10 year lifecycle with most products.

I thought that too. The tweet directly after the "crummy" one seems to backtrack.
