I'm so pleased about that! That's a huge bombshell.
Exactly. It's a pretty smart play that you don't own two products that do similar (but very different) things which could confuse Joe Public.
Hmmm, I guess this is a bigger platform play? Why develop your own when you can use someone else's device across your whole ecosystem (Win10).
I'll hope for the best but I'm still not sold!
Oculus support will definitely be announced.
True Transistor but has there been an update since?
It's "progress" though..
I wouldn't just yet. I have it on a couple of work machines which is fine but I haven't dared to put it on my gaming PC as fundamentally it isn't offering all of the perks just yet!
Wait a couple of months.
And Diablo. Poured hours in on console but feel like I got relatively little out.
Yeah, they need to get more consoles out there to convert hardware sales into software sales as that's the profit machine.
Both companies lose money on the consoles themselves but Sony is in the stronger position of having a greater number of potential software sales out there. Hypothetically though, if Xbox players bought 10 games and each PS4 owner only buys 1 then on paper the Xbox would be more "successful" from a business standpoint.
At lea...
Hang on, VGChartz is legit again?
You say that but look at Destiny. Next to no story yet still millions of active players.
Not knowing how either sound in real life I'm going to take the middle ground and say they both could be right?
Games with Gold was a reaction to PS Plus which was a reaction to being hacked. Amazing how everyone forgets this..
Sounds like you're just attracted to prime numbers my good man.
The title to the article is really misleading suggesting that the actual contents of the updates are contained within the article. Instead it is a wishlist..
Great! I look forward to it eagerly :D
After playing SMITE for the last two weeks, I can't imagine a "classic" (Dota2, LoL, HoN) MOBA working unless they were fundamentally changed. SMITE works on console because it isn't the same kind of game.
It's actually a really fair point. I think there will be a bit of a wobble for a bit while "the best bang for buck" is re-established as fundamentally the marking criteria has changed.
I seem to remember though that there are a lot of older medium-high end cards (560,570s, 6XX etc) still being surfaced in the valve hardware reports. I would assume a number of people will upgrade those to take advantage of "full DX12" when the games start rolling round....
Well that's nice Mr Twitch boss. How about we call an end to lacklustre digital security in companies so that we do not need to go and change passwords to compensate for your failings?!
Hahaha, this is what I thought.
