I agree in some aspects, but you fail to understand that an FPS, while longer than Journey, is just the same standard run-and-gun.
That being said, I'd rather have something with longevity. $15 is hefty for this game.
Street Fighter and Tekken characters belong together. Heavy Rain and YuGiOh is just...retarded.
I give this game a 9/10 so far. Love the survival aspect, and I'm always trying to outdo my friend's scores. Brings back the classic competition days of gaming from the '90s.
This is a fantastic game. One of, if not the, best RPG this gen for PS3.
Cause I had more "fun" with XIII. Linearity has always been in favor of FF. Maybe not to the extreme, but in XIII-2, I did not care for the story one bit, so it was a chore for me to play through it.
FFXIII > FFXIII-2. I loved the story, graphics, and battle system of FFXIII. Unfortunately, only about 20 other people agree with me.
Grzajabarkus,
It IS great. Enjoy it!
Final Fantasy Vaporware.
Get out of here, troll. You're not a true Silent Hill fan since I see you on every damn article about SH.
I bought the game today. I can tell you, from actually PLAYING IT, that the game is amazing, and a return to Silent Hill's roots.
March 11-17 is Silent Hill Downpour and Tales of Graces F.
March 20 is Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Silent Hill HD Collection.
Fantastic game so far. Long game, too. 13 hours in and I feel like I haven't scratched the surface.
Don't judge it until you play it.
Silent Hill 4 was good, but the last great one was SH3. As a fan, I'm giving this game a chance. You should, too. Unless your concerns are legitimate, but if you call yourself a SH fan, you'd be willing to give it a try, too.
I love Flower; one of the best games this gen for sure. Yeah I'm not huge on motion controls - not to mention it flares up my fibromyalgia - but I appreciate the message and what the game was trying to achieve. The downloadable scene is a perfect market for indie games. But you know what? I think I'm gonna get Journey not only to support thatgamecompany, but to open my mind further.
I'm a very creative person by heart with a healthy dose of logic and linear thinki...
This is precisely why I don't really care for art games. I love games with story. I'm a story guy first and foremost, but the gameplay is either non-existent, minimal, not very good, or all of the above. Even the good ones like Limbo could use better controls.
Bottom line is, do you want the gameplay or the "message" behind art games?
Looks like it'll do Zelda better than Zelda.
"We will tell you the answer, but it will come in the form of DLC."
I didn't like them. I played Twilight Princess for SIX HOURS before I got to the first temple. Do we really still need to do meaningless quests at the beginning of every Zelda game? Such ancient design.
A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time are some of the best games every made. Majora's Mask is very good, as well.
For the record I think 2 is the best because the gameplay is better and story is still good. If U1 had U2's gameplay, U1 would be the best. Calling a game the worst in a series called "Uncharted" still means it's damn good, though. Better than a lot of stuff out there.
Thanks for the kind words. I always like to think I can back up my opinions.
Hence why is name is, "The Regenerator."
It would make more sense if they just said they are Sony exclusive.
