Yup. They'll finally get to do with Sony has been doing for PS gamers for years. Well, if their studios measure up, that is.
I'm sure they will.
Yeah, thank you for proving our point. All those spin-offs suck. They suck hard.
The MGS franchise stopped being special after Konami decided to start milking it. This has happened long before the announcement of MGS:R.
That's because the 360 has all the "t3h l33tz gam3rz". They're too hardcore for society.
Welcome to the real world. Killing is just as natural as sex. Always has been, always will be.
"Typical PS3 owner"
From article: "...defendant may have been so obsessed with "Halo 3"..."
What's this about PS3 owners?
"whats a dumb people in here!"
Oh, the irony...
You make 360 fans look bad.
This is not a positive nor is it a negative article. It's merely informing potential owners of some deals that are going on. It is not condemning or condoning anything.
Nice troll attempt though. Better luck next time.
Her face says no no.
But her rack says yes yes.
I can't believe that such a renowned dev studio like Valve could use such a lame excuse. Does that mean that nearly every other big studio is much more competent? Does it mean that Valve will forever be stuck in the past with outdated tech, refusing to accept change? I certainly hope not.
However, it is their prerogative to do what they wish. They will not go down, but they will lag behind other devs if they maintain this mindset.
At least this puts this "MS pay...
Oh ok, I get it. It seems that when Sony does it, they're "screwing" a whole lot of non-PS3 gamers. But when Microsoft consistently does it, it's generally considered to be a good business move. Double standards -- you gotta love 'em.
Although I agree that exclusive content sucks, the tables have turned and people have to accept that. Sony can play dirty too.
Again I reiterate: I am dead-set against exclusive content. But as it was pointed out to me som...
You may be the smartest individual on these boards.
The MSX platform (or in this case, where MG1 and 2 were developped on, the MSX2) was also distributed by many electronic companies. Among those companies was Sony Corp.
@ Johnny
Only Metal Gear was ported to the NES, and it was a terrible port at that. MG2 was never ported. Instead, the NES community got the abysmal Snake's Revenge. It was sort of a bastard spinoff like Metal Gear: Rising.
You weren't a fan up until MGS4 and you're trying to tell us who the real fans really are...
Fact is, it isn't a true Metal Gear game without Kojima, regardless of what platform is on. We have the right to diss it as much as we want to. That being said, I can't wait for the new Castlevania game IF he's actually working on it.
Kojima and Partick Stewart in the same title? I'm in.
No, any true Metal Gear fan would find this news disconcerting. A Metal Gear without Kojima is like peanut butter without jelly. It just isn't the same.
Well, there goes my excitement for this one -- Just like it did for the Ac!d titles and PO. At least MGS4 was amazing and I got to experience it :)
But without Kojima, it just isn't the same. Any Metal Gear fan knows and clearly acknowledges that. Venting your frustrations isn't going to change anything.
Forget the multiplayer. I'm glad Naughty Dog is focusing on improving aspects that made the first one great instead of partitioning their efforts to concentrate on an MP component.
This is not a multiplayer game and will thankfully never be one.
You should look up Hard Boiled. It came out years before the Matrix did.

Do want.
The MGS franchise died with MGS4, and what an extravagant death that was. I'm glad to have enjoyed it.
I'll probably give MGS:R a look. Honestly though, this whole "lightning bolt action" or whatever that sh!t is doesn't sit well with me. Couple that with the fact that every MG spin-off has been somewhat sub-par and there is very little reason for any true MG fan to get overly excited for this one.
Btw, don't even try to denounce me as a MG fan. I've been ...
