I was reading some reviews on amazon for this game and people seem to really like it from what I read. Many sonic fans are saying that this game finally does Sonic justice after so many average games hes been in lately.
I liked the old sonics and the ones on dreamcast too so I may get this game someday soon, maybe it will go on a big sale soon for holiday shoppers.
HAHAHAH I bought dark souls for 20$ the day it came out and am finally at the last boss.... AND HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR 70+ hours.
Games dont have to be multiplayer to get lots of hours worth of entertainment(although dark souls can be played with others too).
I am not excited for battlefeild of COD despite FPS being my favorite type of game.
But it is funny to see how suddenly single player doesnt matter and its "all about the multiplayer...
lol it really depends on how the majority of the people say the date out loud most of the time in that country.
In the US, we would say today is "November 3rd" more often than "today is the 3rd of November." Thats why we write the month first I think, its just more of a direct translation of how we usually say dates out loud.
Id assume that other places will often say the date first when speaking as thats how they write it, not sure tho...

I you ask a European what day their birthday is will they say "November 3rd" or "the 3rd of November"? Maybe a European can tell us, Im guessing they say the date first and then the month alot more often then we do since that how its written over there.
some are less. Im pretty sure skyrim is less than 5gigs and borderlands was around only 3.2gigs
Well Id say COD is a game that doenst need to be installed I dont think, but it will at least make it load faster.
I just think crying people and journalists are making this gen funny and lame.
People just cant shut up about things they dont like for some reason. Its is the essence of whining and of a fanboy.
FPS are my favorite types of games, I havent bought a COD since 4. I couldnt care less about if people like COD. I may get this one and play it because I know that a ton of my real friends will be playing this game. But if I dont I hope people love it.

Even a game that isnt a masterpeice is art. I consider programing a form of art kind of(I sure cant do it), I know that the animators, artists, writers, actors, and musicians etc. that work on games are artists. So why wouldnt the product they create together be art? because its a videogame?

yeah, Ive only played the first 2 and I liked them but I clearly remember silent hill 1 as the only game that has ever scared me, and it freaked me out.
It was a really scary game with a really freaky and creepy atmosphere. The freaky monsters, the fog, the radio noises, the strange shift in dimensions...this game freaked me out when I was younger, i think i was 13 when I played it. Scary stuff, I should get the first for my PSP and play it at night.
metacritic scores dont matter. Sites dont look at metacritic to decide what GOTY is. If anything you would have to look at that sites specific review for that game to get an indication of what they might vote for GOTY. And they dont necessarily have to choose the game they rated highest either.
See, IGN gave uncharted 3 a 10, they dont say "it has a 91 on metacritic" they say "we gave it a 10" when looking for their GOTY choice.

Deus Ex was great but noone will give it GOTY.
I think Dark souls could get some GOTY awards from some places too. I loved it and think it offered alot of gameplay in one playthrough.
I wasnt excited about hearing of GTA 5 at all, but watching the trailer today made me want to play it.
Its not R*'s fault if people were getting WAY TOO HYPED for the ANNOUNCEMENT of the game. This was a decent trailer and showed that the game is pretty far along by now.
Some people get too overhyped or have too high of expectations. Its just a videogame after all, I wont be hyped till I finally get to play it.

LOL digital only?? if thats the case then the intrest that was kindled in me today from the trailer will be instantly extinguished and I will not buy it.
This will not happen tho, what about the people without internet(or slow internet, bandwidth caps etc) or xbox without HD??
They wount be able to sell to those people so I dont understand why it would be digital only if it comes to consoles? maybe if it was true then the 360 version would have to be Down...

edit-- Ill be happy as long as they dont bring back the friends phone calls, I hated tha so much in GTA 4.
I hope they have weapon proficiency upgrades and stamina upgrades etc. like in SA, and maybe the territory to take over too.
It looks fairly better than GTA 4, but still similar.
Also, this is probably running on a PC, not a 360 or ps3 so it should look better than the console versions of GTA 4 regardless.
Overall tho, more color and probably improvements to draw distance, animations etc will be most noticeable.

I loved fallout new vegas too, i beat it two or 3 times. But that doesnt meant they couldnt have done a way better job ironing out some of the bugs.
I would have finished it again if it wasnt for a bug that wouldnt update my quest after completing the objectives. One of the NCR quests wouldnt update after I protected the president and so I just decided to not finish it again and sold it.
I got alot of playtime from it as it was when I got it last year, but...

maybe, but it would be alot worse if they released it and it didnt work.
