Every person, magazine, website or reviewer has their own personal GOTY that they choose. They dont look at other peoples reviews or metacritic to decide what is GOTY.
People clearly dont understand that GOTY is based on opinion and there will always be differing opinions.

I dont think this article is talking about SP FPS games, probably all these multiplayer ones.
So Id say there are 2 reasons:
1) Many of these FPS are mainly online games so the developers simply tack on a short and cheap campaign just to say they have one and it ends up not being very good.
2) Many of the people who buy these games only want or like multiplayer FPS, so when they try the SP they find it "lame" or "boring"...
I like amazon and bestbuy. Amazon has great prices and credit and best buy has some good sales sometimes but I really like the gamers club reward zone. I used my points to get 40$ off dark souls.
Walmart I dont like. I hate having to get someone to unlock the case and get the games because half the time there is no one there or they are busy and I have to wait.

well although BF 3 is the newer game this should be expected considering one has sold around 2 million on 360 while the others have sold well over 10 million on 360.

Sweet, I hope you can chop off some limbs in this game, maybe the hit that kills them can have the area hit loose a limb sometimes, kinda like in fallout(IMO it makes alot more sense to have a sword in skyrim chop limbs off as opposed to the bullets in fallout that tear limbs off like the enemies were made of spam).
