I think this is a good move for Microsoft. Guys don't knock it until you try it when it comes out. Everyone except Nintendo was late on motion sensing, It didn't almost make the PS3 but good thing it did. MS sees a market for it and must keep up to gain new customers that on edge when deciding what console to buy. I tried it on the Wii and PS3 and it is cool so it only makes since to add it in 360 games. Imagine Flying in Gears 2 with motion sensing and shooting in a battle with the Loc...
This is good news but the Toshiba HD-DVD player is still a $300 paper weight. Blu-ray should be $300 by christmas.

WoW. I would like to see the whole list of games. I wouldn't mind having a Wii just for the VC games. Xbox doesn't have that many and it has been out for a long time. I'm getting myself a Wii for Christmas.

this would be cool. I want this game but not on the 360. I refuse to renew my Gold membership now that I have PS3. Free Network gaming. I am not sure if this game will have any online content though.
Thats right. MS only has the rights to the first two then it can go to Sony. Maybe gears 3 will be a PS3 exclusive in 2010.
I really don't care about the console war anymore. I like all three consoles and want the 360, the Wii and PS3 to Co-exist and all do good. That's my two cents.

Well I know a I am getting it on day one. I think this may be a good game. Hopefully Ubisoft will redeem themselves fo that crappy Splinter Cell port. After that I think it is best that they focus on the PS3 version first to get it right, then do the 360 version since they got that one down already.
This is a fun game when you have someone to play with. I wish they could of gave it an online mode to give it more value. because of that I will say just rent it when you have company over. I bought it on the PS3 and enjoy it.
It amazes me how dumb all these people can be who won't buy a Blu-Ray player because Sony backs the format. Who cares. All smart consumers know not to waste money on an expensive device that will possibly be irrelevant soon. The average person can see that Blu-Ray will be the most common format and is the most common today. Would you buy a gasoline car if you new that all cars in the future will run on free electricity and all ex gas station was supporting that shift? That's how dumb you...
I expect them to not be satisfied with sales. they make games so they are only happy if the Systems sales are extremely high so they can make more money like the PS2 system sales. Thats why sony will keep the PS2 around because of the install base and some people just won't spend over $200 for a console so either way they can make money and give developers a choice to go next gen or last gen with games they make. Next gen games cost too much to make to not sell good.
Any Sony Bravia. Samsung is good on the cheaper end and LG on the even cheaper end. If you are really a cheap bastard then get a Vizio, they are good for the money $600.
