Grandia, Suikoden, Xenogears and Legend of Dragoon. Those games were during my renaissance period of RPGs. I would play and beat an RPG every 3-4 weeks. I hope to do that this gen again.

On the flip side, I find it hard avoid stereotyping/generalizing on Gamefaqs/Gamespot/1up. But at the same time, I've learned not to let it bother me. Those things aren't necessary to make a game great. To say a game is better is purely subjective. Some people actually loved KZ2, Bioshock over Halo 3. In the end, it was fun and that's what matters.
Both of these games are fun to their fans and it should be that way. I don't believe Guerrilla, while thinking of a game to create, said "Eureka!!, let's make a Halo Killer!!!". I think their intention was to create a fun experience. And what an experience.
Who cares about them. Not every SONY fan is on this website. Not every XBOX or WII fan on this webiste. I'm sure there are tons of them playing games right now. You're always going to have people who going to profess their console of choice but I wouldn't necessarily generalize them.

It's fine that you give the edge to HAlO because everything is subjective and if you think HALO3 is better than that's fine. As long as you're enjoying the game and having fun with your frieds, which it should always be.
