They are whoring their IPs. I stopped after Guitar Hero 3. Metallica and Aerosmith -atleast to me- expansion packs. I'm curious for the new Tony Hawk but they are going to have to wow me before I give up SKATE. So we'll see.
EDIT: It's just a threat to help his company (terrible threat to honest). Dude just had foot and mouth disease.
you're funny dude. really you choose one link to try to prove your point. Yea big guy, you definitely made your point. @_@
Anyway, this is the same guy that wanted to the wii to cut the prices. Seriously, I think Activision should cut the price of their games. Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Metallica are essentially $50-60 dollars expansion packs. Anyway, I think SONY will eventually cut the prices in September.
Really, the majority of consumers probably can't get a PS3 due to it's crutch. The price. The games are great. It has one of the best blu-ray players (on an HDTV, it's AWESOME) and it tons of other functionality (internal wi-fi adapter is the best). But I can see why people won't rush because we are in a very tough recession and it can be considered a luxury item even though it's a great value. So it's possible SONY introduce this to try to offset any losses if/when they cut the price. Peoopl...
You know, I see these blogs or website that just seem to pop up and rant and whatnot. Okay, I understand why people's eyebrows were raised when Kaz announced the price. However, as Jmare eloquently stated, people are looking at it the wrong way. The original PSP remains but like the ipod you can certainly upgrade to the touch for a higher price. It adds functionality, but it's essentially the same. You can still play the same games. I don't see myself getting it since I have a PSP (original m...
...I would say you ran out of good comments to type but you never have anything of substance to say. Oh well.
After that crap released last year, you don't need to raise it that much to improve it.
Seriously, all this talk is just talk. I'll see how good it is when I get the chance to play both.
I thought it came out the 26th. Oh well, I agree with it's not bad for a new IP.
Yea, I should play the demo then. I saw the commercials. Looks good.
You know, I was thinking the same thing when I was playing InFamous. It just dawned on me at the time.
Believe me man, I'm trying to figure that one out.
On topic, considering that inFamous came out on May 26/27, it's not bad numbers. It's a new IP and SONY has shown some commercials (FINALLY!!). So who knows, it might show a strong showing for June.
The DS...WOW! I give it props. It has some amazing games so I'm not surprised.
I didn't know UFC was so popular, so if anyone can tell me how the game is, much appreciated (is it difficult, fun, etc...)...
While I respect that Nintendo is doing, I agree with Kaz here.
The statement:
"Without this pillar you end up with a fickle audience that might be big but will probably move on."
To me, if ain't Mario or the Zeldas or the wii fits, games on the wii (they sell) won't sell in the boatloads as it should. Like MadWorld.
I have the game and I hope Sega makes a sequel. So, hopefully more people will buy it.
We know man, We know.
I like this song.
Why didn't anyone tell me GT5 is out?!?!!? I need to go get it right this INSTANT!
Wait...it's not out. ;)
I would've like to Valve work on the PS3, but hey I accepted it. I still like thier games and I can understand if they are under-manned and don't want to put in time they don't have to develop for the PS3. However, I thought Valve is sorta under EA? so why not let EA do it. I know EA sucked with the Orange Box. I have the game. Well it wasn't bad but I played it on the PC and the framerate was just bad compared to the PC/360 conterpart. But still, if they are business, EA can just port it and...
...you'll probably enjoy. I can only vouch for InFamous and tell you my experiences from that. As for prototype, it looks fun and funds right now are sorta lacking for me, but hopefully, I can scrounge up and get it.
...I bet if it was on the 360, your tune would change. Am I rite? I mean it wasn't great on "your" PS3.
Well I could still dream. It doesn't change my stance the IMO MGS4 is the best game this generation. ^_^
Now bring on the bloody Trophy Patch. ^_^
You took the words out my mouth. This guy has been calling for price-cuts for a while now. I vaguely remember he was disspointed that all three didn't cut the price. I would say to the prick: "Hey A-hole, cut the prices of your games. Especially your guitar hero series!". Seriously, if anything, his company would be hurting from lost revenue. So, I wonder what symptoms of foot in the mouth disease he's going to display now.
