Anyway, I guess a lot of people were under the assumption that more new IP that caters to the "core" (emphasis added) would be presented. Wii music and wii surfing board stands out the most and that's why people were dissapointed. I think Nintendo's "core" is the casual market, so whatever works for them.

Gamespot awarded Perfect Dark Zero 90. And this isn't a 90 that down the time line is diminished. PDZ wasn't that great when it first came out. Resistance got an 8.6. Battefield: Bad Company (360) got an 8.5 from Gamespot and PDZ is rated higher than them. Where's the outcry about that from "journlists".

were comparable on the PS3 relative the 360. Considering the installed base advantage 360 have over Sony, I thought the software numbers would favor them more. I guess EA efforts to get the parity between both systems is paying off, unlike last year where it was clear that huge percentage of the copies sold were on the 360.
I agree. I've been advocating that we not approve anything Pacther quotes or predicts. They are just fodder for fanboyism and besides his numbers are always off. In essence, he's no different from any of us who make 'guesstimations' and I sure know our quotes aren't getting approved.
