Shocking how sharply divided the comment section is, lol. Looking at the comments you have the people who love it and then theres the people who only have xbox.
That's highly subjective and debatable, one of the greatest absolutely, in the top ten sure, THE greatest that would be a hard sell. Personally I loved it and played through the entire game a few times.
To be fair your comments come off as a little fanboyish as well. It may not be the best game this gen but calling it "dull and unspectacular" is just as hyperbolic.
Yeah its tough for sure, if that's as far as you've gotten and cant get any further it might just not be for you, its a game that rewards skill, you defenitly feel a sense of accomplishment when you beat a difficult boss.
Nope still not awesome, unnecessary. Sony is forward thinking and best at making new amazing gaming experiences for their new hardware. When a company spends all their time focusing on enhancing old games you get little to nothing new as we are currently seeing with xbox.
fine and necessary are two entirely different things. I'd rather Sony focus on new experiences for a new console than worrying about games from the past.
The bulk of the people here claiming it matters are xbox fanboys trying to make it sound like if it doesn't have it they wont buy it, when they have no intention of buying it either way. For the record no one ever said it was dumb, they said its not as important a feature as the xbox camp makes it out to be, cause its not
Got Knack for free with Plus last month. Actually really enjoyed it. GOTY material its not, but a good little platformer with some neat mechanics. Now that I've had a chance to actually play it its become evident where all the hate really came from, people who never actually played it.
The problem is the hypocrisy of calling it "post-launch" support in this game but in other games that do the same thing it gets chastised as holding back content to sell to you later. This game should be held to the same standard and not given a pass for doing things considered ant-consumer when other devs/publishers do it.
So you bought an x to have the "superior" experience for third party and "enhanced" last gen games on your 4K HDR TV, yet a slim is good enough for "a few" must have Sony exclusives on said TV?
I dont think DLC is considered Micro's at least that's what I was informed when I was told State of Decay 2 will have paid DLC but not Microtransactions.
My comment wasn't a vote for or against its inclusion, it was to point out that the lack of it isn't a "deal breaker" for those who want to game on Playstation. The "surge of popularity" on the other platform is by and large massively over exaggerated and I personally would much rather see Sony continue to put time and effort into new amazing experience then spending time and money to add some resolution to old games like the other...
