Me too, I'm actually really excited for this game.
Ya dust 514 has changed a bit since the early beta. It's pretty good now, and they said they have major changes coming before it actually releases. Anyway, I think defiance looks great, ill I've seen is videos on it but it looks awesome. I'm not sure why there's not more hype about it. Unless I hear its just a trainwreck or something I plan on picking it up day 1 on ps3 hit me up if u need someone to co op with.
Does anyone actually listen to patcher? He has been full of bs for along time. Sometimes I read it just to laugh.
I thought the first oasis dlc was pretty good. But hammerlocks was dumb and short. And carnage was just ok. I honestly expected a lot more from there dlc. No cap raise so far is a bunch of bs.
I've seen a few trailers for this game, it's looks very good. I'm excited for it, it looked like a ton of people playing co op at once.
With a new playstation and most likely a new Xbox. The wii u will be doing anything but dominating next year. Unless they really come out swinging with first party support they might be in even worse shape. But the 3ds is so strong Nintendo will be fine. I expect the wii u to be more like the GameCube, a good system with some great games but not strong sales wise. I expect playstation to bounce back strong this gen.

Only on PC. On consoles it's blurry textures over gameplay. And no I'm not a PC guy.
Ya although maybe not as huge a leap as in the past, if u compare launch games like killzone shadow fall and watch dogs to last gen launch games like resistance 1, perfect dark and others. It's a pretty big leap. Not to mention ai, animation, physics and so on that will improve. I'm freakin excited for next gen.
Really cause when I watched sony's conference I was a little worried before it started. And by the time it was over I was like, yes Sony gets it. It's about offering games, features and a community that other platforms and and phones just can't compete with. Exclusive games, easy to develop for but powerful tech that will give us better more unique games, gaikai streaming games, playing games while they download, redesigned ui with the ability to see what others are playing live, ...
The more hear about this game the more I want it. I thought it was just going to be a dumb spinoff.
I love killzone but I completely agree its a damn shame we couldn't get a proper socom on ps3. In my opinion confrontation was closer than 4 was, and that game was basically unplayable for a long time after its release. Even tho 4 was just flat out a terrible waste of time, I'm sad that zipper shut down, it might mean socom is dead forever. Man I'd even love to see what mag 2 on ps4 would be like.

Hey cliffy b. No one cares what u think, and no one cares if u leave the console business.
360 gets bashed cause if u want to play multiplayer, or watch netflix, Hulu or anything like that u have to pay for xbox live gold. Those are all free to access on ps3. PS plus is a much more optional service with more content value. It's apples and oranges.

It doesn't matter. I can only think of 2 original Xbox games that I put into my 360 in six years of owning it. Backwards compatibly really doesn't matter.
If by lame, they mean not a shooter. Then ya I guess it was lame. For me it was one of the best jrpg's I've played in a long time if not this entire gen.
Because the wii controls were frustrating is a pretty valid reason.
