EA cared less about BF til this generation where CoD was a big seller. 2005 til 2011 between actual BF series sequels means EA saw what BF3 can do for sales, now we are going to get another watered down military shooter. thank you mainstream gaming.

Running an online service like PSN and not having qualified people on staff to have to outsource a company to tell you what information has be comprised is a HUGE eff up. Especially with how dependent gaming is with online nowadays. Any company that has customers credit card information should have the utmost security.

Once gaming hit mainstream it has been more about filling money hats for publishers and less about developers vision to make a fun, creative and innovating game. One great example has been tacking on MP to numberous SP IP's that were perfectly fine.
Thank god the indie scene has exploded with a lot of great lil games.
i refuse to buy dlc because i believe it should be a reward to those who have bought a developers game. why should i pay $15 bucks for a map pack when before this console generation it was free? if someone wants to buy dlc, go ahead, it's your money. but just know you are fueling the fire that is hurting gamers.
i believe everyone should have access to great deals, not just those who spend more money then others. i am really not liking this premium subscription trend that has started.

Valve is by far the best thing that has happened to the FPS gaming industry since id Software.
from HL1 producing the story driven FPS, to HL2 introducing great facial animation (which i believe is still unrivaled) and physics, to redefining co-op with the L4D and TF series, to creating the FPS Puzzle genre with Portal 1 and Portal 2.
now we have another set of mod tools to keep games fresh and exciting. Valve just keeps getting better and better.
but graphics dont matter unless we are talking exclusives.....looking at you jaggie fest Infamous.

great post SegaKnuckles86. All we hear about is piracy and "used game sales need to go away". Used games, and piracy, is part of being a game developer. make a product worth the money, with quality and gamers will buy it and keep it.

dont blame M$ for Sony not delivering on their promises. the PS3 is a flawed system, just as the 360. no where near enough RAM to produce 1080p/60fps like it was supposed to, or 4D.
back on topic, i loved MGS4. but i think the ending sucked ass. Snake shouldve died. i was in tears when Otacon had to explain to Sunny Snake wasnt coming back. very emotional.

i dont want BF4 this quick because it seems EA is pushing another BF game the same way Activision pushes a new CoD game.
Sequels should push genres of games. CoD has done nothing new since CoD3 to CoD4. after 4 we have gotten reskinned rehashes of the same game.
UC1 was an ok game, UC2 was a great game. UC1 was the same game as UC2 except for how great ND pushed the story. HL1 took mindless FPS to story lined FPS. genres need to be pushed. i dont se...
