the monster trucks will def make me check this game out. i was a huge fan of the type of motorsport...when i was 7 my dad took me to the Silverdome in Pontiac MI to watch USA-1 and Bigfoot...and ive been a fan ever since. and the trailer was sweet :D
gaming sites are like sexy women or men to us gamers. however everyone of those sexy beasts have uncurable std's...ie fanboys. they used to annoy the hell outta me....but you have to except the std exists and live with it.

this is where i think MS have themselves in a lil bit of a pickle. if consumers are basing their own purchases off of thinking this content is going to be free....and lil bobby buys a 360, his copy of GTAIV, his Xbox Live for a year and come to find out he has to pay another $20-$30 bones for more content...a S*** storm could be coming MS's way. imo they need to come forward and say whether this is gonna be free or you have to pay for it on top of the Xbox Live membership.

i really hope MS doesnt charge you 360 guys for the extra content. i would be pissed off. but like most DLC...ie rock band and gh3...im guessing it might happen.

i agree with you. it doesnt matter. what matters to MS is if their content they paid $50 mil for gets them what they want...selling more copies on the 360 and more consoles for the content. i personally dont think they will achieve their goal with the 50 mil risk they took. i could care less what console someone plays. i like games. not wars.

that is a very good point. is DLC for 1 game enough to make someone purchase one console over the other? im sure it is for some GTA slappys....for me? no.

Dark Sector didnt catch my appeal at all. i dunno...maybe its the fact that he throws that bladed disk that reminds me of the Predator weapon...i couldnt tell ya. maybe a rental....but those cons really stick out.
i can see it making the jump to ps3...the install base will be much larger than when the first was released...but who knows. ill be getting the PC version rather than the console version. im so horrible at FPS's with the analog :(
the tech demo they showed with the woman, and the sheer raw emotion of how a cheating girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse really hit home with me. thats what im so interested in how QD brings emotion to us thru their art with this game. the end of HL:2 Ep:2 hit me the same way....i need Ep:3 now! that is whats driving me to SP video games nowadays....connection with the character you play and become. this lil tidbit of info has made my dad. i cannot wait to see how this one shapes up.

ahh, i was having a problem with the animations in the library not displaying, prohibiting my progression in the game. i swapped copies with another copy at a gamestop where i bought it (i wouldve bought it new if i couldve found it) but i have however been so addicted to TF:2 i havent turned my ps3 on in weeks to play more. hopefully, it will work this time. or im going to start over and see if another route in the story will let me progress.
