i dont see what the big problem is with console guys saying "i play comfortably sitting on my couch". i play my online PC games perfectly comfortably in my PC chair. thats one angle i cant grasp o.O i dont like controllers for online FPS's. you put the best controller fps player up against the best keyboard and mouse online player....and i will bet 100% on the keyboard and mouse player any day.

thats where im kinda iffy about when the cuts will happen. MGS4 is gonna be huge for sony as will GTA IV will be for MS. its either hold as is or slice dem prices! personally i wouldnt for either console...but i have a hunch both will.
you lucky 360 guys! :D im a huge fan of the Battlefield series (which is why i hate CoD:4 :P ) and im excited and might actually jump into the online console realm to play this. even tho ill be free kills for anyone since i BLOW with a controller at fps's :(
remember in live action movies....when the lead character good guy is taking cover....and a stupid bad guy is standing out in the open firing wildly and the lead character pops out and shoots him? i dont wanna be that guy...hence the good cover system :D

sad isnt it? like what do you get from cheating...against someone on an online game? its so laughable isnt it? so when you step away from the PC or console and hit the real world...ppl know you went 259-3 in a CSS or CoD:4 server? i see it the same way as WoW fanatics that need all the best gear and blah blah blah. once you log off...your a nobody in that virtual world. guess some ppl feel the need to use the fantasy worlds to make themselves feel important.
here is a perfect example for your about a central service. Valve and being connected to steam to play any of their online games.
VAC bans hackers all the time. however not instantly. it can be up to 2 weeks before VAC gets a hold of a person and bans them. there will always be hackers. not as much...but they will always be there. and once the mindset is there that hackers exist...its easy to call someone a hacker. anyone that has a good shot "oh he's a hacker! ban...

welcome to the world of PC gaming ol' console faithful. consoles are becoming more and more like PC's...you might as well embrace the online hackers as us PC faithful have! you learn to live with it and hate it. once they are in...they are in to stay.
