As a PlayStation 4 owner, I'm not in a slightest disappointed..if anything, the firmware updates bring stability and assure continuous operation of the console..
I'm also looking forward to the major updates however maybe it's time to stop labelling all PS4 gamers, as the article suggests, as people who complain about every update.
Gaming journalism... Give me a break.. I could write more informative PlayStation news in my spare time.. it requires...
I would love to see suspend/resume function implemented. It's overdue. :)
I will definitely try and find a way to play the second game at least.
It would be great if we could have those two games or at least the second one remastered for the PS4 and Xbox One for those of us who would love to play it
Lots of content, one of the most polished, fun and enjoyable MMOs on the market since excellent World of Warcraft.
Especially if you are fan of Final Fantasy in general. Looking forward to the new expansion. :)
Holy.. August and October are packed with games.. not enough time to play them all..
That so called freedom comes at the significant price attached to it. Also, consoles aren't for exclusives only, do a small Google search and you will see that good amount of third party games aren't available on the pc or it takes them a long time before they make it to the PC.
Also consider the state some of them are once they are on the PC, console ports don't always end up with pretty picture.
@JBSleek, your maturity is being questioed by me once again with that ignorant response. You are really giving me 700$ vizio as a example? I will let it go for the sake of the price you are trying to justify...
Now tell me how much will it cost to add a proper PC that can run that 4K resolution games? I build pc on occasion for friends and family and I can tell you right now it's expensive. You won't run 4K modern games for cheap.
Another point, sinc...
Not that expensive? Do please share some numbers.. 4K is in its infant stage and it won't be standard for the next 5-8+ years. Remember the HDTV and how long it took for it to be affordable to masses?
Insulting console owners because you can afford 1000$+ pc rig isn't helping you case or maturity..
Be happy you can afford this latest technology and enjoy it. The rest of us will as well when its more affordable.
I played primary on the pc until around 2006-7. At that point, I didn't see anymore point of keeping up with ever expensive hardware.
If you have the money and it won't impact you in any way financialy, I guess why not. However for the people like me where family, bills and rent take priority, console will always be a better choice.
Not to mention, time restriction and it's more family friendly.
In the end of the day, it's up ...
Deserved to win? They barely got passed the dutch team in lucky penalties..
Germany was a better team overall, messi is a phenomenal player but you can't rely on one guy to win world cup where teamwork matters more.
Either way, great game. Congras to Germany on 2014 world cup !
I'm currently still testing out beta and while some games do have a more then normal price for rental, others are pretty fair.
I would love to see a one time purchase options and in future PlayStation Plus owned games to be accessible for no fee. Based on individual account obviously.
If I purchased my PS3 version of Dead Space 1 I would love to play it on my PS4 via PlayStation Now without being charged.
Its still a beta as of right no...
Imagine this, Ken Kutaragi and Mark Cerny together, collaborating on creating PlayStation 5 :)
Human Titan :)
Runs bad on new consoles? I have absolutely no issues with my PS4 copy.
Enjoy the games and stop worrying about resolution and frame rates.
There are more important aspects in life to lose sleep over. :)
October is going to be busy month, Drive Club is looking better and better each day. It will do until I get my hands on Gran Turismo 7.
Then again, I'm keeping my eyes open for superb Project Cars as well.
It's good to have options :)
This has nothing to do with time constraint, micro-transactions are ment to generate more money and profit by cutting the retail game content, offering the said product for small fee and then justifying it with :"Oh, but it's for those people that have no time, just make sure you spend dozens of dollars".
Like it will magically give you more time to play that paid content. All of a sudden, there is time to play...
Season's Pass is the same w...
PS4 has plenty of games. Not every game is for everybody but both the quality and quantity are a plenty for this year and especially next.
Plus The Witcher 3 is releasing in early 2015 as well, sadly - I can't wait for it. :)
I probably won't be able to for another good year or two. Between numerous bills to pay and other chores (rent, insurances, etc) I don't believe I can afford it.
I will look into reading up on the story online or something similar.
Xbox 360 crushed the PS3?
I won't even bother entertaining that false statement.. do a little research..
