Hopefully the extra year improved the game for the better. Still sad to see micro transactions in the single player game... I hate them in general.
Loved the first game, and I look forward to the second one. I hope it sells well so we see another game in the series.
I would say go for it, especially if you do have the money and enjoy Xbox games - absolutely, go ahead and enjoy it. Especially if you do have the 4K tv/monitor.
You can also save good amount of money if you have Xbox one and trade it in towards the Xbox one x.
That's what I did with my PS4 when I bought the PS4 Pro.
Make a quality single player experience and i will buy it, otherwise I don't bother. Simple as that..
I bought the game for 40$ as i do with majority of single player games and it was a great game bit on a short side but in the end I really wanted to see more.
Hopefully we see a sequel one day.
So no, the game isn't shit and is well worth more then 3$..it's your overrated opinion.

I fully agree, the balance issues are a problem and the team composition only work with few selected meta characters.
If you don't have a half decent team it's pretty much a guaranteed loss.
Don't even get me started on toxicity level some of the players you meet. It's enough for a headache pill..
Beautiful car detail and sense of the real car driving. Both games look amazing but I prefer the feel of the Gran Turismo.
I am literally torn on this one. I actually love the realism feel for every car I drove. It really feels superb.
However then I kind of miss the single player car progressive of the older titles where I can take time and build up my collection where I can tweak my better purchased car to beat the best cars on the category.
Gran Turismo Sports feels like a half a deal where I don't mind the occasional online match, which by the way has very good matchmaking capa...
That's why I will buy the game and fully ignore online focused micro transactions and loot boxes riddled mess the other games are trying to shove down our gaming enjoyment.

Nice damage control article, no they are bad, for the consumer and the gaming industry.. And they are a very fine line between gambling and addiction issue that is being pushed by the publishers for the profit.
It will eventually kill gaming as we know it.

Did the right thing then, canceled my pre order and put the game into my used cart for 20$ to experience the single player down the road.

I enjoyed the demo, it's a good mix of differences options. Gran Turismo was always a fantastic experience and by the looks of it GT Sports will continue.
Have the game pre-ordered. One more week to go. :)
Sad.. I had the game on purchase list however, just like Shadow of Mordor, im skipping on Assassin's Creed as well. Maybe used for 20$ if I even care at that point..im not supporting this reduicilous practice.
With all due respect Switch has a lot of ground to make up to even be considered "best" console this generation...
That title has been taken by Playstation 4 and even then it can all be subjective since poeple find different things more popular to them.
On the paper however, popularity, sales - ps4 is winning by quite a bit over every console this generation.

They only stopped the purchase, temporarily, and the grind for the rest of the gear and heroes still remains unbearable.
This isn't the way to generate revenue, this is the problem and prime example of uneducated folks with latte in their hands that don't understand the industry they work with.
Hopefully this is a lesson for the rest of the community and companies to pay attention. You are walking a very, very thin line between greed and profit.
